I had original grilled chicken sandwich.
The Kaiser roll was huge.
I ate it like open faced chicken sandwich because I can’t or won’t eat that much bread. The chicken had a good taste just a bit dried to my taste.
My husband had grilled mahi sandwich.
For $25 fish sandwich we got very little fries with it. Fries won’t hurting that much cost of business if we can get a bit more than a small hands portions. But anyway that was our own experienced. Otherwise everything was good.

I have not been to this restaurant personally, but I am reviewing on behalf of many who have. So while I cannot personally attest to the food, I can only recognize the compassion and integrity Of the ones who run it. To reunite as many pets as they have with their humans, this restaurant deserves five stars. I will be visiting the next time I am in NJ.

I’ve never had breakfast at the Riverside Cafe – my boyfriend and I have had lunch there often but he spotted a menu item he knew I’d like. He’s a pork roll guy, but knew the California Egg- Mike- named after the owner- was right up
My alley. It was a work of art- a large, toasted English muffin topped with fluffy scrambled eggs, perfect sliced avocado, a ripe slice of summer tomato and American cheese. It was the kind of breakfast I’d been looking for. My boyfriend had large buttermilk pancakes with juicy blueberries. The location is wonderful- we sat under a palm tree and watched the boats go by on the inlet. The service is quick and friendly, thanks to the owners of an establishment that has been in Manasquan for almost 60 years. Another Riverside meal that I’ll happily be back for!

The best place for breakfast! We are looking forward to having dinner here too. Food is great, service is even better. I read the negative review and it blew my mind. That person must have been hungover when writing. ♀️ We love it here so much and try to get there every Sunday. A must try!! Our puppy even loves it since they give her treats and water whenever we are there.

Went for a bike ride this morning with a buddy. Started in Howell and our ride led us to the inlet. Working up a sweat and hunger we choose to eat at Riverside Cafe, where I had the Egg Mike Sandwich with Bacon and my buddy had The California Egg Mike. Both absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and amazingly fresh! Highly highly recommend!

This was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had in my entire life! I’ve honestly never enjoyed a meal so much and felt this much goodness after eating. The service was amazing… they even announce your name on a loudspeaker for you to get your food! The atmosphere is immersing as well as they play Caribbean music; really makes you feel like you’re in a tropical place. But seriously, whatever they did to the tortilla to make it taste THAT GOOD, needs to be studied. 100000/10 experience, definitely will be coming back to Manasquan just to eat there.

Best spot ever! Were locals who LOVE dog beach and Manasquan by the inlet – the owner is so friendly and amazing we love seeing him each beach trip, the women (i think it’s his wife) makes THE BEST coffee ☕️the kids ice cream cones are perfect size and thr ice cream is so yummy. Perfect to crisp fries. Cutest local spot! Highly recommend.
