Really delicious food! My favorites are the tenderloin sandwich with mushroom and onion(pictured), wings, broccoli cheddar bites, and the homemade soups! The owner also gives out a complimentary chocolate dessert he makes with each meal! ☺️ The outdoor bar/patio area is super nice in the summer time! Bag toss game, and live music gigs! Sometimes it gets REALLY packed and service takes a bit longer. And the menu no longer has prices on it, nor did I get an itemized receipt? But all in all…this is one of my favorite “not so hidden anymore” spots to get away quick and have a cpl drinks and a meal!

Absolute horrible service. Scoured at and then blown off for waiting patiently to order a beer. There for the first time to see a live band the was fantastic, I follow the band to another gig but will never return to Riverside Bar and Grill again. They were busy and I waited my turn to order a beer from the outside bar (at least 15 minutes for her to serve the 3 people that were there ahead of me). Now standing at the bar, next to be served, an obviously already over served gentleman stumbled up right next to me and she immediately asked to serve him. I called her out saying no I am next just to get scoured at and then skipped. I walked away (without any beverage), listened to the band for a while longer then decided I’d rather be home. I certainly will not be returning

Another fantastic evening at Riverside! Limited menu for the kickoff of Patio Concert Series which makes total sense. They have a TINY grill area and the outdoor crowd is easily 3 times their indoor capacity. We had the grilled ham & cheese with fries. Tasty as heck. The BEST patio in all of Appleton and for the Wed night shows they open up the outdoor bar too. Truly an Appleton gem! And their bartenders are the BEST!!

Phenomenal service with a friendly smile! My hamburger and fries were cooked exactly how I wanted. Outside patio area was very peaceful and quiet.

One bartender. Don’t think it’s her fault. I think she’s inexperienced or new. Food wasn’t like it used to be. I don’t think we’ll be back. If you can’t have enough coverage you shouldn’t be open. The only thing that saved us was the music.

From the service, to the food, and even drinks, we were very disappointed! Despite there being 3 bartenders behind the bar, service was slow. My drink tasted burnt???? I don’t understand either, it was a strawberry vodka and sprite, something was way off. Then we get the food and the haddock was good, no complaints, same with the fries, but the walleye was gross, not just the taste, but it was soggy on the bottom, and had bones, maybe it’s personal preference but I didn’t care for it. Also the coleslaw was room temp, I found it to be good, but threw me off that it was not cold. Just pretty disappointed that dinner was almost $50 and we didn’t even enjoy it nor finish it. Was not asked how anything was or how we were doing, been there in the past in the summer and LOVED the burgers and patio vibes, that was a hit, but this time was definitely a miss, don’t plan on coming back.

Was in the front room for a baby shower. Ppl were nice and customers as well. First time being here. Nice outside bar and stage for bands etc. Bar was nice outside. Inside was also nice clean little warm because fryers are kept on for food. Prices were reasonable. Left by 6pm. Band was playing that night @6:30pm. Was posted in several locations. Bathrooms were located inside. Clean and stocked. Also a handicap stall. My mom uses a walker and was able to use facilities. Would return.

Caesar salad was large. And the chicken was chewy. I would have preferred a regular size dinner salad. Needed more dressing too. But, I loved the outdoor atmosphere. I would definitely come back. The service was very good. Servers were smiling and friendly.
