7/30/25 Had an early dinner here. This used to be a regular haunt for us, but we haven’t been here for a few years. This was our first time back under the new ownership. Food prep took a little longer than we’re used to, but well worth the wait. Burger was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were the best we’ve ever had. The Mexican special was good as well. The servings were generous. Definitely a do-again. The bartender was friendly and attentive.

Stopped by after a walk at nearby Higganum Cove. The waitress went over the specials one of which was the fajitas. Choice of steak chicken or shrimp. I chose the steak. A hot skillet comes out with some great steak with peppers onions and tomato and some hot fresh tortillas and another whole plate with rice bean with cheese and salad and it was an awesome meal. Some of the best fajitas I have had! Service was great as was the waitress who was from Ecuador. I ate and had enough leftovers for 3 more fajitas at home for my daughter.

If I could give no stars I would. We order a $11 salad, chicken tenders, and onion rings. Over a half hour we got our fried but no salad. I canceled the order bartender says I already put the order in, you can’t cancel. I’m charging you anyway. Finally got $ back …order a shot of smirnoff… she says they don’t have it. So I took my $6 to the liquor store…m

I have been to riverside a few times now. The service is always good the beer is cold. They have keno, pool tables, an arcade game, darts, and a few tvs. The food is biggest disappointment and why I don’t come back more. It’s very low quality, nothing seems freshly made (everything frozen). Too bad I’d really like to go back more.
