Our group had a blast here! We ordered pulled pork nachos, racks of ribs and their BBQ chicken and our group of 14 ate them family style. Sweet potato fries were good. Cheese curds also hit. Their ribs were so amazing that they were memorable. Super delicious, and tender, almost melts in your mouth! I haven’t had a lot of barbecue in Wisconsin but I will now bless this restaurant as having the best BBQ ribs in Wisconsin ever! I don’t know if I’ll ever pass by this area of the state again but I would love to eat here again given the opportunity. We came to this area of Wisconsin for a fall leaf peeping trip and this restaurant, which serves quickly too, gave us all a satisfying lunch. Will give them my sincerest recommendations!

The server didn’t listen. I had to repeat my sausage patties and scramble eggs order three times. I asked for my cheque twice, and she went to talk to the other server instead. The food was well prepared. The other server did a good job.

What a gem of a stop! We were in town for canoeing and had no cell service so we drove around and stopped into Riversend / Not so Famous Dave’s on chance.
We went with the 2-4 person variety sampler and tried the pulled pork, smoked chicken and ribs. Everything was phenomenal. I’d say the ribs and chicken are a must try, along with their baked beans which were legittt. Great bark on the ribs, chicken was fall off the bone tender and flavorful. Pulled pork was a bit on the dryer side for my personal taste but flavor was on point and I’d probably just sauce it up a bit more next time.
As far as “northern” bbq goes, this is one of the best stops I’ve made.
On the patio there’s an old school outdoor smoker setup complete with a couple of pit masters hanging out and bonus points for the bulldogs hanging out in their dog houses behind the smokehouse.
Service was perfect. The pit master even stopped out to check on us and it’s clear he takes pride in the craft.
Minor suggestion- tap/draft beer would be a welcome addition. Only bottled and can were options for my visit.

Delicious! If you’re looking for a great spot for a drink and amazing barbecue, this is it. The ribs were tender andcooked to perfection, the chicken was outstanding, and I also enjoyed the baked beans.
Washed it all down with a Josh Cabernet on a sunny day. They have a large outdoor patio area and a pretty decent drink selection.

Came here last year when they were smoking food. The chicken was delicious and the service was good so we decided to take a drive and visit again this year. Such a disappointment. A server and a bartender were working and we were the only 2 in the restaurant area with 2 people at the bar drinking. The waitress finally decided to wait on us and it took 30 minutes to get a chicken sandwich and a burger. The food was okay, but after seeing this….I couldn’t eat any more. Watched the waitress go to a back table with about 20 pounds of ground beef and make patties with her bare hands. Then watched her carry a potted plant from the bar area and set it down somewhere else, clean glasses and cans off the bar, talk to the 2 patrons with both hands on the bar top, then go back to the raw meat that was just sitting out and continue to put her hands in it. She definitely didn’t wash her hands that time, nor wear gloves. The grossest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Beware if you have a burger and know they were made with bare unwashed hands!

We descended on this establishment midweek with a group of 16 over the lunch hour. They accommodated us very well with excellent food and customer service. Can’t wait to visit this restaurant again, particularly on a weekend when they have entertainment and smoked barbecue entries.

We made a bike trip day to come for lunch here, again. The first time we didn’t know about them until we smelled the food being smoked as we rode in. Our minds were made up! Great food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Smoked BBQ ribs, tender and delicious, half of a chicken smoked, wonderful,sit inside or out. Can’t remember the name of pictured food-potato wedges, Mac n cheese, covered by pulled pork and BBQ sauce. Delicious

Such an incredible hidden gem, hidden right in the heart of Ontario! Clean, courteous atmosphere, and absolutely incredible food! It was my second trip in a week, but I had to come back for the smoked food! I split 1/2 a pig pen with my sister. We had ribs, chicken, pork,beans, mac n cheese, cornbread…and so much more! It was pure deliciousness, and I’ll be back soon!
