Came here last year when they were smoking food. The chicken was delicious and the service was good so we decided to take a drive and visit again this year. Such a disappointment. A server and a bartender were working and we were the only 2 in the restaurant area with 2 people at the bar drinking. The waitress finally decided to wait on us and it took 30 minutes to get a chicken sandwich and a burger. The food was okay, but after seeing this….I couldn’t eat any more. Watched the waitress go to a back table with about 20 pounds of ground beef and make patties with her bare hands. Then watched her carry a potted plant from the bar area and set it down somewhere else, clean glasses and cans off the bar, talk to the 2 patrons with both hands on the bar top, then go back to the raw meat that was just sitting out and continue to put her hands in it. She definitely didn’t wash her hands that time, nor wear gloves. The grossest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Beware if you have a burger and know they were made with bare unwashed hands!

Only pizza available when we went, mediocre at best. Service was ok, took over an hour for the pizza to be served. No need for me to go back.

This place is your typical small town bar and grill. My paddling club came here for Friday fish fry. $8 got me one sizable piece of fried cod with a baked potato plus salad/soup bar. The offerings on the salad bar were pretty limited (common for a place like this), but the chicken noodle soup was just the thing for my cold. Overall I felt satisfied, but $9 with a can of soda is at least $1 more than I felt the meal was worth. Service was a little slow. Our orders were taken quickly but we waited about 20 minutes for our entrees beyond finishing at least two trips to the salad bar each.
