You can’t go wrong with a meal at River Street Ale House. I ordered the Hula Burger, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The grilled pineapple added a unique sweetness that really made the burger stand out. And the chips that came on the side were excellent, too! The atmosphere is always lively, and it’s a great place to hang out with friends. I highly recommend it if you’re in Boone.

Today I finally got to enjoy the Diablo Dog whom many locals in Boone have been raving about. I thought eh it’s probably just bar food- when I say that this item deserves a Michelin Star by itself, I am not exaggerating. I even met 3 other people who ordered it at the same time as me! Diablo Dog Demons!!!

Great place to go, even better when school is out. Fun atmosphere, lots of TV’s and great drink selection. The menu is beyond the regular, boring bar food. We just got some appetizers on this trip with an awesome $4.00 Bloody Mary. Great local place to have in Boone. Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese bites are excellent. The urinal is worth the trip to the men’s room.

My family and I were in town visiting and decided to swing by Rivers Street Ale House on a Saturday evening around 7pm—and it was a great call! The food and drinks were standout features. We ordered 12 wings with a lemon pepper dry rub, and they were absolutely delicious. Paired with some sweet potato fries, it was a winning combo. The drink prices were wallet-friendly too: $3 for a Miller Lite and $4 for house vodka. Our total tab—a Miller Lite, the 12 wings, a vodka soda, and a vodka cran—came to just $26, which felt like a steal.
The vibe was a huge plus. We played corn hole, listened to live music, and loved the laid-back yet lively atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind, though we left before the late-night crowd hit, so it might get even buzzier later. There was also some festival called “Boonerang” going on nearby, which seemed to bring extra energy to the area.
All in all, Rivers Street Ale House is a fantastic pick for tasty food, affordable drinks, and a good time. I’d totally recommend it for a chill night out—especially if you’re just visiting town like we were!

The food, waitress, and location were all great! We have friends who went to college nearby and recommended their wings and boy were they right. All the flavors are delicious. We ordered multiple flavors both bone in and boneless. If I’m ever back in town I will be coming here for wings.

What a fun, lively place! We were in town for a concert at The Schaefer Center nearby & stopped in for a quick bite & drinks beforehand. Liked it so much that we came back afterwards. The wings & Jamaican pizza were excellent. And how do you beat a vodka & cranberry for $4?! A happy place where all the locals were friendly.

I just wanted to say I loved the Diablo Dog. For $9.95, there’s not a better deal in town. The jalapeños blend with the queso and fried onions in a way that one could simply not imagine prior to experiencing this delicacy.
