What do you expect? Friday night seafood buffet for under $40 with the entire town on the prowl. Yes it’s cheap, and yes it’s seafood. The two don’t usually go together. The best thing they did was bring the Alaskan King Crab back to the buffet. Make sure you don’t eat the cold Dungeness crab – doesn’t feel like the safest thing. Two weird things: there were no French fries to go with all the seafood and there were a lot of people drinking milk.

We came on seafood night during dinner time (6-7pm). It was busy, but we didn’t wait in line too terribly long. The first waitress was very kind, however there were a lot of dirty tables around us that sat for quite a while before being bussed. The food was decent, above average for a buffet, we were impressed with the crab. However, the waiters who tended to us through the rest of our meal were less helpful and we had to stop them to ask for drinks and napkins.
The valet service was wonderful and those men working it were very sweet and personable.

I’m quite surprised at the negative reviews. I’ve only been there once, but I had a great experience. My daughter got her braces off so I let her skip the rest of school that day and took her out for lunch to celebrate. It was lunch on a Wednesday so there was very few people there. Maybe thays why my experience was so good?
The staff was very helpful and our server was prompt. Everything was clean and looked good. I only had a few things, but the sausage with artichoke i think it was, was probably the best sausage I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes were thick, but not as thick as other buffet places, and they tasted very good. Any buffet place I go I always grab a piece of fried fish. I honestly don’t know why…but here, the breading was very good, and the fish was great. I cut it with a fork and each bite stayed together. At other places the fish usually falls to pieces or is very dry, but here it was almost as good as the Cod at Red Lobster (I had actually just gone to Red Lobster the week before so it was still fresh in my mind). Not only was it that good, but their tartar sauce was really good too (I hate having a good piece of fish ruined by not good tartar).
The food I had may not be as good as “specialty” places (like Red Lobster for example)….but it’s a buffet so I wouldn’t expect it to be (except on their specialty nights). But vs other buffets in the area, this blows them away in my opinion. My daughters favorite used to be Golden Corral….but now it’s here.
We plan on taking the whole family on Friday or Saturday night this weekend. It’s my son’s birthday and he wants Golden Corral and he got talked into trying out this place by my daughter. He just has to decide on seafood night or meat night (whatever they call it where they have all different types of meats). I was actually coming to look up which day was which when I saw and read the reviews and then felt compelled to share my experience. I guess I’ll have to come back and review it again after going while it’s busy.

It used to be a great place but I’ve noticed a decline in the food quality and service over the last year. The wait staff was extremely unprofessional and inattentive. It took 10 minutes for our waitress to show up to the table and we had to get drinks from someone else. About 15 minutes later the same absent waitress came to the table and started taking full drinks because they were “closing” as if was last call at some seedy bar. This was at approx 2:05pm when they closed lunch to reopen for dinner at 5pm. About 10 minutes later as I was finishing my coffee, the waitress once again takes the coffee off of the table and says “I don’t mean to be rude, but you’re going to have to leave because we need to get ready for dinner”. At this point I let the manager know who didn’t seem to really care much.
We decided to give them another shot about a week later. We were seated once again with the same inattentive waitress who was now “skipping” around the restaurant and very jittery. Rather than approaching the table and greeting us with a smile and perhaps saying something like “I’m sorry about last time, I’ll make sure we take extra special care of you today”, she skipped across the restaurant, put her arm around another waiter, whispered something into his ear, pointed to us, and smirked and giggled as if we were in a High School cafeteria.
At this point we figured we’d better leave because quite frankly,. I don’t trust them handling our drinks. Call me old fashion, but I expect a level of customer service, class, and hospitality. Obviously, I’m not going to walk into a McDonald’s and expect 5 star service but I’m also not going to walk into a place like Northern Quest and settle for well-below sub-standard service.

Usually great food and good service. Tonight I got a raw chicken strip and when I notified our server she acted like it was no big deal. Didn’t offer to fix it or my meal. I told her to let the cooks know and I watched them not even remove the pan of chicken strips. There were lots of families with children there and I think food safety should be a priority. Very disappointed since we went for my birthday.

Hubby and I went here tonight for Seafood night. We have had a few so so dinners here, but tonight made this our last time of going here. All of the crab that we had was way over cooked and the meat was mushy. Nothing we had was overly warm. Yes I realize it’s a buffet, but still. The dessert bar was nothing great, and the ice cream had a really funky taste. Something we ate made both our tummies feel not so great. In fact my husband threw up right out the front door. All in all it was a very disappointing meal. We’ve been going here for years, but it seems like the price keeps going up and quality keeps going down. Definitely not worth going back.

I treated my daughters and myself for the first time here, also first time ever being at the casino period. The place was clean and nicely set up. The mashed potatoes were the best and I loved the chicken! There were dishes that I haven’t found at other casinos like the sausage and sauerkraut and the butternut squash I think it was (so GOOD!) I wish there were more chocolate desserts. There was a chocolate pie but it was sugar free. Also please try to do something about the serving utensils! My daughter burned her hand on them hopefully someday we can stay and eat lol

The buffet use to be good. We have been coming to the buffet for the last 5 years. We have seen a decline in customer service and food quality. We have complained to the manager and she blamed the chef. We went two more times and frankly, the price we pay for the quality and selections are outrageous. I would rather go to Golden Corral or Cda Casino. Way better service and pick of foods and dessert.

1)Friend found a hair in his dessert. Manager said he would comp the meal. Never did anything. Called the lady in charge of customer relations, she never called me back. I will not be going back again. Poor customer service. It would have cost them nothing to make it right. I traveled 30 min to eat there. Not anymore.
2) they did send me a gift card and went back for seafood buffet. They overcooked the crab until it was as dry as paper. I wish I would have used the gift card to buy some new snow shoes at their store. One good point, the prime rib was really good. 12-4-10 update. Came out for prime rib, they raised the price to 20.00 and no more prime rib. They also reduced the size of the food stuffs. Took away the good stuff what a dissapointment. I will not be coming here again
