Had the best time at River’s Edge. Had a couple of great cocktails, played darts and pool. Our bartender was friendly and helpful. Tacos were outstanding.

We drove to Defiance for ribfest, but then realized it cost $10 just to get behind the gates and they only served like five lame beers. River’s edge was the only bar open in town. Luckily, the guy was cooking up some ribs in honor of ribfest that day, and they were absolutely exquisite. Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had in my life. And they had some decent IPAs. Perfect Saturday afternoon.

Bartender wasn’t to happy that we ordered food or was having a bad day. Couldn’t really tell. Ordered food off the grill since we were told the fryer was broken down. I forgot to take a photo sooner before I devoured the Bacon & Cheddar Pub Burger and waffle fries. Definitely worth the price. ($10) Traveled to Defiance for work and glad I found this gem on the River. It was a great atmosphere, food, and service. Will be back if in town again! Convenient street parking out front and across the street as an added bonus.

The blue haired glasses wearing bartender is absolutely the rudest, most unequipped, untrained, least patient, “bartenders” I’ve ever seen. She needs a barback and another bartender to handle 12 guests in that bar. Please do better

Drinks were awful. Bartenders were extremely rude and didn’t even serve all our group. Way too bright; Imagine trying to get drunk in an operating room. I’ve gone on weekdays and had a good time, so I expected Saturday night to be great. Severely disappointing considering it was one of the best places to go in town.
