If your cold natured don’t sit under the AC unit on the back wall cold air comes in around it. I got the chicken strips and fries the chicken wasn’t seasoned the fries were soggy and looked like the were cooked in old oil. The appetizers were ok the mozzarella sticks were frozen the onion straws seemed good. We were here for an hour before we got our food and they were not busy. The service is the best thing here. The noise level makes it hard to hear the people in your party.

The personnel don’t wear anything to indicate if they work there or not. It’s a newly branded restaurant and that comes with questions. Multiple men in flannel shirts were getting ice out of the drink machine and dumping ice in, neither of which with gloves. Can I refill my tables drinks like one customer definitely did?
The waitress checked on us once but we were all done eating and without anything left to drink at that point.
In terms of value, I’ll allow you to assess it. This tenderloin sandwich with a burger bun is worth $12 without fries or a side. The menu said “loosen your britches” regarding the sandwich.
With a tip, would you pay $14 to $15 for this sandwich?

The service and food was delicious. The view was nice but the room was exceptionally cold and I am never cold. We had the kid’s 3 pork tenderloin strips with gravy and waffle fries for $10.

The dining sections felt disorderly, and the host seemed unsure of how to manage guests seating themselves without menus. The crowd level suggested strong interest from the community, yet the kitchen seemed noticeably backed up, contributing to extended wait times.
Menu prices reflected current inflation, but they felt particularly high for a small-town establishment where diners are accustomed to more modest pricing. Additionally, the service staff appeared to lack prior restaurant experience, which contributed to slower service and numerous breakdowns in communication—between servers and the host, servers and the kitchen, and servers and the bar.
One nearby table received their appetizers—poppers and cheese curds—approximately 30 minutes after ordering, and their entrées arrived just a minute later. Appetizers are traditionally served well before the main course, suggesting a need for better coordination or a more efficient ordering system.
While the atmosphere was a highlight—the interior and exterior have been beautifully redesigned and look nothing like the former Twin Rivers—the food itself did not meet expectations.
My order included a side of “breaded” fries and fried onion straws. My partner ordered a kids’ burger with no fries, yet the dish arrived with fries that were extremely soggy. The fries were battered rather than breaded, offering a crunch only from the coating while the potato inside remained limp. The flavor profile loosely resembled a less seasoned version of Long John Silver’s batter.
The onion straws were essentially onion rings cut in half, lacking distinction, especially at the $7 price point when more affordable options of similar quality exist elsewhere. The kids’ burger was very dry, overcooked, and likely made from a frozen patty rather than hand-formed meat. Any flavor primarily came from the mustard and onions rather than the burger itself.
Overall, the establishment has strong aesthetic appeal but currently struggles to meet the expectations created by its own hype. Significant improvements in communication, staff training, kitchen coordination, and menu execution would greatly enhance the dining experience.

This is my First ever bad review!! I try and see the situation and circumstances of the situation and find that silver lining! 2.5 hours later and we have left and I STILL DONT HAVE DINNER! We saw the Google location and was ecstatic a new place to eat in mt.carmel that isn’t pizza or tex mex yes please. We got there at 445-5 o clock. We were seated and got drinks it was a train wreck after that. When we FINALLY GOT TO ORDER! We ordered the fish dinner(great just didn’t get the fries that came as a side), tenderloin sandwich( cold but ok), the smothered chicken( everything was a different temp and the cheese wasn’t melted not sure how that happens and never got a plate for the salad that came with the meal, and I got the buffalo chicken sandwich(can’t say cause after 15 mins of waiting and watching the rest of the table eat and still no food cause at this point it’s almost 3 hrs laterand I still couldnt tell you because it never came. We watched people come in an hour after us an get their full order and leave while we waited for food that in my case never came. 2 stars for the catfish and drinks

We waited for over 2 hours for our food to arrive. The kitchen is just very slow. The portions are huge but the food is pretty mediocre. My chicken sandwich was about 50% breading. All of the food on the menu is fried and that’s what is slowing the kitchen down.

Nice renovated restaurant, very nice. Ali and crew created another very nice establishment. Great food and atmosphere. You gotta check out the boat bar.
