The wife and I honestly did not enjoy our time at River’s Bend Grill. While the staff was very social and friendly, there were a few things that I noted while being here. As soon as you walk to the door, there’s a sign that says 15% gratuity is added to carry out orders. The food was honestly not that great. The first thing that the wife and I tried were the crab cake minis and the entire breading of this appetizer tasted burnt and was probably fried in really old oil. Next we had a Cesar salad that I forgot to take a picture of. The Cesar salad was good but the croutons were made from scratch and tasted horrible. They also tasted like they were fried in the same oil as the crab cake minis. The rivers bend punch and the shrimp&scallop alfredo were both kind of bland. The Alfredo was highly recommended but tasted like there was no seasoning on anything, just cheese, noodles, and shellfish. Another thing to note is that the menu had “market price” for not just the seafood dishes but also for some of the chicken dishes as well. This means there’s not that much consistency to pricing. The price can fluctuate everyday depending on the market. Safe to say, we will not be coming back to this establishment.

The food was excellent, as was the service. I tend to drink a lot while eating, and my glass was never empty before getting a refill. Our server was very polite and checked on our table frequently throughout dinner. We will be back again.

Honestly, Christa the server is the number one reason to go. To that end, tables with other servers loudly complained about their slow service, so it might be worth asking for her if they’ll let you.

Went here on Friday for my birthday with 11 other people. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything! Our waiter, Chad, was so friendly, funny and eager to help. ALL the food was delicious. It’s been a while since I’ve had a gathering somewhere and everyone left satisfied!

Coming here was a mistake. The place looks unfinished. Like they decided to open a restaurant but forgot they need to build a dining area. The server was brand new so I don’t blame him but he brought the wrong drinks. I got the catfish and it was awful. Even the coleslaw was “congealed” and inedible. I would not recommend this place.

We came here due to the high reviews on google. I had some sort of seafood burger and my fiancée had a chicken wrap. She loved her wrap but my burger was extremely greasy and honestly disgusting. The veggies it came with were saturated in oil and did not taste fresh. In addition, a few hours after I felt very sick to my stomach from eating here. Environment was similar to an Applebee’s, I’ll leave it at that. I will not be returning.

Looks can be deceiving. This place doesn’t seem like much. A little dive bar and grill with shaky tables blaring 80s pop music. But when I tell you that is the best burger I ever had, I mean it. Eat here. Don’t judge, don’t second guess, just eat here.
