Ordered a large pepperoni and immediately thought, “Uh oh… did they forget the pepperoni?”
Nope. It was just deep undercover, hidden beneath a blanket of cheese so thick it should’ve had its own zip code.
This pizza had commitment to cheese. Stretchy. Endless. The kind where you pull a slice and it just keeps going like a magician’s scarf. At some point I stopped counting bites and started questioning reality.
Once you break through the cheese layer, boom—pepperoni surprise. Savory, perfect, and absolutely worth the excavation.
If you like your pepperoni discreet and your cheese turbo aggressive, Riverfront Pizza understands the assignment. Would absolutely order again… and bring backup napkins.
The delivery driver was badass btw.

I’ve been coming to Riverfront Pizza since I was a kid, well over 40 years ago. I haven’t been here for 5 years or so, the pizza still tastes as good as it did when I was a kid. My grandson said its the best pizza I’ve ever had! Thank you for keeping the recipe the same!
Yes, if dinning in you have to order at the counter and they will call your number. Yes, you go up to the counter and get it yourself, its been that way since I was a kid.

If you’re not a local know that you’ll have to order when you walk in then come up to get your food when called. Unless you sit at the bar then you’ll be served. It took too long to get our food, pizza was okay at best. I was finished with my pizza when my friend’s appetizer came out. We ordered in one go. Directions were unclear so feel free to take my advice. A lot of people around us got burgers

I had to apologize for the whole office for the horrible food and experience from you. A placed to decent size order. I did it online so they had plenty of time. You get there at 12:30. It said it’s supposed to be ready at 12:25. It was ready. That’s not the problem. Every sandwich was wrong. The small one had mayonnaise and it was supposed to be on the big one pizza sauce and mushroom sauce was supposed to be on two of them. I noticed I messed up on one and got mushroom sauce add mushroom sauce. That’s fine. That was my mess up but it was burnt that doesn’t change it. Doesn’t matter how much sauce you put on when it’s burnt.
When someone called to complain about the cold food and the messed up sandwiches, the lady called her a liar and then wanted to argue with her. I get it. You got all them homers out there. Bumming, I work at a doctor’s office. These are all other co-workers who all have jobs and we eat lunch everyday. I get it. I ask for a little extras on certain things but I even double-checked and read the ticket. You made the small big and the big small all cold. Heck, I still have funnel cake fries because they were so rubber and you can’t eat them.

The pizza was very good, no question about that. If you sit in the bar you get a waitress, a menu, and full table service. We didn’t sit in the bar this night because the air conditioner in the bar wasn’t working. We sat in the dining area. If you don’t sit in the bar you order at the register at the front door. You also get your cup and pay at the door. I left a 15% tip for the waitress. I didn’t realize there was no waitress, no server, no food runner. I guess I tipped the cook. When your food is ready someone just yells out your ticket number and you go get it. Everything is completely self service. I guess I just expect more when I go to a restaurant.

Placed an order for myself and my children. I was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived a little after that time and still ended up waiting another 25 minutes inside, so over an hour total. I understand places get busy — that part wasn’t the main issue.
What really stood out was how rude the staff were. Several of the women working in the back were openly nasty toward customers, and employees were speaking to each other disrespectfully as well. It made the whole environment uncomfortable.
To top it off, the restroom looked worse than a truck stop and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time.
I didn’t want to leave this review because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, but this experience was the last straw. I’d recommend saving your money and heading to Fessler’s Pizza in Bellevue or Pasquale’s in Newport instead — even if there’s a wait, their staff are always respectful and the atmosphere is much better.

Would love to speak to the owner or anyone is management about the guy behind the counter! I won’t be back and I’ll make sure every last person I know hears about how bad the service is there now. Too bad because the food is usually good. Received a message saying my order was ready 15 minutes before it was given to me. Was then hung up on after I called to asked the guys name. Again great service! As you can I see I used to eat there regularly and planned on doing so again. But I’ll find somewhere else to spend my money.

First time visit for me, my parents ate here often as children and wanted me to experience it with them. We had a variety of foods – meatball hoagie, mushroom Philly hoagie, steak hoagies, French fries, and mozzarella sticks. Everyone loved their food, compliments all around. They have bathrooms, one for men and one for women, no stalls, just singular toilet in each bathroom. You walk in and order at the counter, they let you fill your cup up and call your order number when your food is ready so you can walk up and grab it for yourself. Booths, tables with chairs, and a bar with stools are available for seating. The place has an old-time feel without looking rundown. It held a lot of nostalgic memories for my parents. We don’t travel this way often, but will definitely return if we’re in the area again!

I had the wings and they were the best, no kidding, best flavoured wings I’ve ever had. The tasting selection was also very tasty. My wife enjoyed the spaghetti.

Great service once arriving and order taking. I’m pretty sure they do not do table service. Food was good and their homemade rach was amazing. Perfect place to go grab lunch or if you just don’t feel like cooking.
