Riverdale Vintner is amazing !!! I was so lucky I came to the store. I found everything I needed at a very good price. I was help on Thursday by Martin he was great and I was Help Friday by Laura also Amazing. The store is super clean and super organized.

I got scammed from this place. I made an order on grubhub over $100, I only recieved one item worth $18. The person on the phone wasn’t taking anything serious, and would not compensate me for the rest of my order that I never recieved. They didn’t bother telling Grubhub that they were out of stock. The entire $100+ order was falsely marked as delivered and I was charged the full amount.

Good basic wine store in Riverdale, Bronx. Prices are ok, just 5-10% more( I am sure because of lack of commercial RE up here) than your average Whole Foods wine store where you can get Three Wishes Cabernet for $3.99 or Alamos for $9.99. I do like variety and staff is very helpful, but they have to do something about the smell. It smells like public bathroom.

I have bought Spanish wines and brandies from Riverdale Vintners regularly for more than 5 years. This store’s has a greater variety of wines and spirits of very good quality from Spanish producers than better-known Manhattan stores. Check them out. You may be as satisfied as I am.

They have very rude customer service here. They look at you funny once you enter the store and are very unfriendly. The owner was Middle-eastern or Indian of some sort, and was rude when I asked for what they have in stock for a certain brandy. Bought some drinks from here anyways and asked to used the bathroom and they refused. Told me to go to the store next door in a rude manner. Selection was okay but very overpriced on liquors compared to other places. Would not recommend them and would avoid. Will not be returning and will give business somewhere else.

The people there are so helpful. The lady that works there recommended me a rose that was off the charts. Rose to me is very hit or miss, but she nailed it!!!!!!!! Even the bottle it came in was so cute, that I made it into a vase.

This is the best local wine store in the Riverdale neighborhood. Prices are reasonable but not low – you can do better if you go to a store down on Broadway in Kingsbridge or drive up to stew Leonard’s in Yonkers. That said, Riverdale Vinter has a great selection, the staff is friendly and helpful and doesn’t change much. They always have more or less what I’m looking for and are a solid local business.
