I live down the road from this restaurant, but never tried it. I’m glad I did. The restaurant side is clean. The store side is fully stocked and they have a meat counter. The service is excellent. I ordered the beef enchiladas, rice, beans and salad. Lots of delicious cheese on my enchiladas and salad. My server brought me chips and three different salsas. I liked that. The mild salsa was in a mason jar. I liked that. The other two salsas were in squirt bottles. They gave me a very generous portion for lunch. I was still full at dinner time. The prices are reasonable, not expensive. Highly recommended if you like Mexican food.

Saw this restaurant on TikTok video, decided they maybe worth checking out.
On the video and description, details were limited but, food looked tempting to make an 1hr 15 min drive from home…one way.
Being it’s Friday afternoon, only few people inside dining @2:30pm or so.
The video showed BBQ chicken, ribs and fried fish, which was what we “expected” to find.
Well, we got disappointed to “ASSUME” they serve them all day every day
Speaking to the waitress, she told us that on Fridays, they’re served from 5pm until closing…now we know.
They’re also served all day on Sat/Sun
As for their menu, we found none online, owner(?) told me that website is in the works and will be up very soon. Others had failed to mention or post the menu so, we got them for ya!
Friendly server, decently decorated inside and kept cool, being that today it’s @89 outside
Good food, good quantity and priced good.
Not exactly in the middle of town fancy restaurant but, they’re worth the drive, no matter where you’re coming from…just mind their hours and serving times as I mentioned, so YOU won’t be disappointed

Today picked up Quesabirria tacos and a steak taco salad.
My hubby brought home food from here once before. It was really good then, and still good today. Made sure to grab a menu so I can call in the order if I’m doing take out. They also had the grill or smoker going out front. That’s always a good sign.
This is my new place for Mexican food.

This isn’t the atmosphere of a high-scale restaurant; it looks family-owned and local. Luckily, it tastes like it too. The food was ready quickly and was better than chain Mexican restaurants. Definitely a hidden gem.
