My husband and I dined here for Valentines Day dinner—quite the underwhelming experience.
The service was great over all-garlic knots brought to the table and they were delish.
We ordered the lasagna, shrimp Alfredo, calamari, and salads. Overall, the experience was just okay, but the food was disappointing.
The calamari was rubbery and the sauce did not taste house-made or like traditional marinara. The lasagna was over-sauced and tasted more like a frozen microwave meal than freshly prepared. The shrimp in the Alfredo were large and fresh, but the sauce itself was bland and under-seasoned.
The salad was the best part of the meal.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian flavors, this is not be the place. If you prefer basic, non scratch made flavor profiles, you may enjoy it.

This place looked quaint when walking in. Very clean. Our party was seated right away. The white table cloths and menus looked rich. Our waitress greeted us immediately. We ordered drinks and the fried cheese stick appetize. So far so good. Free garlic knots were brought to the table (I think a dish of olive oil was an additional charge – would be smart to just offer it for free as well) The cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks was IMPRESSIVE! Our expectations were now set pretty high.
Then we tried the tomato dipping sauce that came with the cheese sticks. It tasted like Chef Boyarde, right out of the can with that hint of metallic taste. Womp womp!
We ordered the lasagna and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. It came with soup or salad. We got one of each.
Kinda underwhelming and disappointing from here on. The soup tasted exactly like the dipping sauce and the salad was meh. When the main dishes arrived, I was told the lasagna dish was piping hot from coming out of 450° oven. Well, the dish was hot. Too bad the lasagna inside was luke warm. The noodles were very thin and soggy. I assumed it was prepared ahead of time and then pulled from the fridge to heat up (waitress confirmed reluctantly). The chicken in the fettuccine alfredo was super moist and delicious… but that was the best part. The noodles were meh and the alfredo sauce was watered down and very runny. Maybe they ran low on a bulk made batch for the evening (as we were told it was one of the most popular dishes ordered that night).
The waitress did remove the lasagna from the bill.
I wanted to like this place, really. But I cant say I would return there or recommend it to anyone passing through.

Tucked away in a shopping plaza where you can enjoy a stroll through Homegoods and Dollar Tree, you will find a place where you can immediately be transported to Italy. This place is a hidden gem! The ONLY negative thing about our experience at Rivera was that we were kicking ourselves for not discovering this glorious restaurant sooner! My husband loved his pasta combo and I will absolutely be ordering the salmon piccata again! The delicious food was just one of many reasons we will be returning frequently! We were so pleasantly surprised to discover a lovely live pianist playing beautiful music right near our table. Our waitress, Cassandra, was incredibly attentive and made our experience even better! Lastly, our decision to order a slice of their delectable Limoncello cake to-go was absolutely the right decision!

This place is a hidden gem all need to experience! The price for the authentic food is not much more than a value meal at a fast food chain but you get so much more by experiencing their atmosphere. I took my daughter here! I first ordered a to go meal from them and walked in to pick it up. I text my daughter and told her I’m talking her there. She loved it! Hope your refrigerator has room cause you are likely going home with a leftovers bag! Shout out to Buddy!! People help make the atmosphere!

I love what they have done with the space here. The atmosphere is beautiful, warm and comfortable and the service is very friendly. The food was full of flavor with generous portions. I highly recommend the chicken marsala or the linguine clams. Both had wonderfully rich and flavorful sauces. The stuffed mushrooms were a bit pricey for the four you get but they were quite good. The bread is freshly baked and is perfect for soaking up any excess sauce.

The food here is incredible. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. The Chicken Niccola was so perfectly cooked that you could cut the chicken with a fork. We also had the Tiramisu, which was so light and melted in your mouth. And the rolls… don’t get me started. This is hands down one of the best places that I have ever eaten at. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back next time we visit Little Rock.

We came in today for my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent. Our server was really wonderful. This is our second time eating here. We love the amazing bread. The meals come with a delicious salad. I have had seafood both times and it is very delicious. There are always leftovers to take home. I told the server it was my husband’s birthday. He brought us a piece of cake with a candle. The cake was very, very good. Their drinks are also tasty. We have enjoyed both our visits. Thank you!! Highly recommended!!

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for lunch and we were very impressed! I remember when it was a Chinese buffet, but the decor and atmosphere were really beautiful. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and toasted ravioli for appetizers, my husband had the pasta sampler and I had the chicken parmesan. For dessert I had the lemoncello cake and my husband had the chocolate cake! Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to return!!!! ❤️

The only reason I’m not giving this restaurant 5 stars is because they could’ve given a few more meatballs—ha! That aside, everything else was top-notch: the price, atmosphere, and customer service were all excellent.
Whether you’re planning a fancy date or a family get-together, this place delivers a great experience. The food came out quickly, and the portions were solid. I’ll definitely be back!
