First time visit. Went for breakfast. Pricing was competitive with other local restaurants. Quality of the food was good. I like the bacon stiff and not chewy. The restaurant was warmly lighted. There were no noticeable cooking odors. There was no background music playing. The place was mostly occupied by silver heads at least when I was there. It seems to be their favorite place. Our waitress was A. and she was that delightful combination of balance between seeking the customer’s enjoyment and the boss’s interest.

My wife and I went here for a traditional breakfast after a long night. This was everything I wanted in a classic big breakfast. The meats were fresh and cooked to perfection, I ordered over easy eggs and they were perfect for dipping.

Ordered corned beef hash n eggs w dry rye toast. Toast was buttered and there was a mix up on who was supposed to bring out the new toast. Took 15 min to get toast. They made up with a free Baklava. I didn’t eat my Corned beef tho bc it was canned. (My fault I should have asked) I can tell minced canned, and I don’t mess with it. I like large chunks of fresh corned beef. All the other food at the table was ok .

We moved from the area two years ago and made a trip back yesterday for the chicken Parmesan. We drove almost two hours to eat here. Friendly staff always and excellent food and portions. We split a dinner and actually got another to go because it is so good. Never had a bad meal here. Waitress was attentive and on top of things. We miss this place!!

8-18-19 1st visit since the new opening (been open about 6 mos) & it has a brighter interior & a lot of customers…way different than the previous establishment…this time only got desserts…waitress said they had chocolate syrup, but it came out w/hot fudge & then charged me an additional $1.50 for it…Mgr. later made ot right….AND they were out of vanilla ice cream in August…mgt mess up…also no Hershey’s chocolate syrup…but they do serve Coke products (a definite plus) for me…our waitress was very pleasant & knowledgeable…we will be back.

I had the lemon feta cheese chicken. It doesnt look that great but, it was fantastic! It was moist and wonderful seasoned lemon taste. I will go back for this soon! I also got soup, salad and rice pudding all of which came with the meal. I think the dinner was about $10.00.

The kayak people here were very rude to me on memorial day of all days. Wouldn’t let my friend get out of the water (i explained that her kayak was coming with me) when she was having a panic attack unless we had 10$, which we didn’t have our wallets on the water obviously. Will never eat here again
