We had an excellent dining experience on Christmas Eve. Our reservation was confirmed by Stacey, who also turned out to be our server. She was very helpful, attentive, and made our visit even more pleasant. The food was outstanding, from the honey/goat cheese crostini appetizer, to salads, meals, and desserts. In our party, we tasted the swordfish, mahi mahi special, shrimp skewers and chicken flatbread. Everything was tasty and prepared to perfection. The wine selection was fantastic — we all truly enjoyed the reds and whites we tasted. The decor in the restaurant is modern and trendy yet cozy/comfortable. Thank you for making our holiday celebrations even brighter!

Don’t miss out on this place! Delicious options to pick from – if you’re bored with the usual, definitely give this place a try. The service was kind, genuine and accommodating. Where a Mexican place will bring you chips and salsa—They brought out goat cheese, Crostini’s with yellow raisins and organic honey – fabulous. My husband and I wanted a certain bottle of wine and they pulled the closest best option for us, even when it wasn’t on the menu. The chef is the owner and clearly values beauty and takes pride in his work.

Where to begin…. We got the last reservation of the night and were very excited to finally try River Twist.The ambiance is great! Eclectic, fun, creative- lots to look at! The people could not be friendlier! Cara our server, Anthony, and Lorraine the owner were absolutely delightful and made this a lovely visit! Now, let’s talk about the food… just YUM! The fried chicken livers were like taste bomb pillows! Cooked to perfection, tasty, lots of layers of flavor…. The lamb was amazing, perfectly done with a phenomenal sauce… and the tuna tataki was creatively presented with sesame soba noodles a slaw and a sauce that perfectly complemented the tuna – which basically melted in my mouth. For dessert, outstanding espresso and blueberry lemon crème brûlée. I mean…. I’m a bit of a crème brûlée aficionado, and this has to be one of the best I’ve ever had! Don’t miss a chance to eat here. You won’t be disappointed!

This restaurant is absolutely outstanding! The customer service was warm and attentive, and the food exceeded all expectations. When you sit, they bring out a little complimentary starter toast topped with goat cheese and honey — it’s the perfect one-bite treat and such a thoughtful touch. Their mocktails are incredible — I had the Sweet Snap, and it was amazing! If you enjoy Caesar salad, this is a must-try. The caramelized lemon added such a unique and delicious touch — truly the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back!

Our party of six had reservations at River Twist for early evening February 10, 2026. We arrived early. Shortly before arriving we learned that two of our party could not make it. We informed the hostess seating us upon arrival, whereupon she moved us to a table for four. Before our dinners arrived we were scolded by the (assumed) owner/manager that we were required to let the establishment know immediately of any changes, that River Twist is a small family-owned enterprise and how our change was most inconvenient. The message was repeated to our group more than once, one supposes to make sure we got the message.
To be sure, we got the message. The service was slow; we noticed an immediate lag and lack of attention from our server. The restaurant was not filled to capacity. The meals were adequate yet unremarkable, especially given the prices. This was our first time to the establishment and there will not be a second. The experience was most disappointing.

We received a gift certificate for this restaurant. Made a reservation for 6 and at the last minute (no time to call to change reservation to 4) 2 had to cancel because of sudden illness. Told hostess that and everything seemed fine. Sat at a four table versus six at suggestion of hostess. Empty four tables were available through the whole evening but the owner? Had to come over and “uncomfortably scolded” us for not letting them know about the two cancellations. Dinner was fine, nothing that we don’t experience at other restaurants who are nicer, expensive, won’t be back.

What a great time last night. We met some friends here for dinner and everything was amazing. Stacey our server was one of the best The food was great and very plentiful, my wife enjoyed the wine and selection, some had cocktails and enjoyed them. The owner stopped by to make sure we were all happy, desert we ordered 4 of them and all were great. It was raining so we went by the kitchen and met the chef which also married to the other owner. Have to say it’s one of our favorite restaurants now. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

This restaurant is a diamond in the rough which people need to discover, the service and the food was impeccable. The presentation of the food on each plate was fantastic and Brandon our server did a great job of taking care of our every need. I strongly recommend this restaurant, it was one the best dinners I have had in Vero.

Hands down, Very chill, calm atmosphere. It’s hard to see & find! It’s in the 17th street plaza. I found it by accident, but am glad I did!
Decor was simple-yet contemporary. Went for lunch and enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich and soup. Started with a cauliflower soup which I must say was very tasty.
Cuban sandwich with a twist-plantain spread on it, side of macaroni salad which wakes up the taste buds with its zest, also a side of unconventional coleslaw, Very good! I have no complaints. Service was great, Stacey as my server. Was told they close at 2:30-5:00 open back up for dinner. Will definitely go again!
