I was visiting Savannah and Googled the nearest River Street Sweets location, which ended up being the Habersham Street location. I was greeted from the moment I walked in the door and offered samples. My mission simple: pralines!! I was able to try the various flavors. The sweet potato was UH-MAZING!! The chocolate is delicious as well, you can still taste the “praline” flavor but hands down my favorite was the sweet potato and the original! From the customer service to the delicious treats if I could give it all 10 stars I would!! I won’t have to look for another location when I come to town. Celia is chef’s kiss!!!

We stopped in to visit the store, having enjoyed the original location in Savannah in the past. Steve was very engaging as we shared stories of having both gone to school at USC, and he let us sample the newest praline flavor. After my purchase as we were walking down the street Steve caught up to give me an extra bag of pralines discovering they were the freshest batch that was made. Extra effort will have me making a return visit.

I’ve been to the store a few times before and had amazing service particularly by a certain young lady named Chantal, no complaints. She is wonderful, but a few days ago I went in and a woman I think her name was lis or Lisa not sure, don’t care. She was short with me, rude and didn’t acknowledge me when I walked in AND handled something without gloves. I wouldn’t come back in the store if I saw her in.

My wife brought me some fudge home to try.(I’m a huge lover of fudge). This place was so damn good.lol. She got some praline and said that it was good and fresh as well. Give them a try. Take care.
