Little bit odd they had most of the lights out but the food made up for it. Ordered a chicken biscuit with bacon and the crunch was perfect, salty edges and falling apart. Definitely using real chicken for a good price

This was my first time going & I was recommended the catfish.. So i went with the Catfish sandwich with bacon & a 6 piece honey hot wing w/ loaded fries..and came with a large drink. It took maybe 8 minutes no longer than 10 because I was on my 15 minute break.. the service was nice .. she was very patient and nice. I overall enjoyed my whole experience it was really good. I definitely recommend and will be back !!!

Okay I was just in that part of town to pick up something on Facebook messenger and it was dinner time. I was hungry so I ordered a fish sandwich. They let me swap the fries for fried okra! That’s something in itself; and then I ordered the fish fillet dinner for my family and they let me swap out the fries again. It was just great.
But I have to say something about the collards. They were fantastic! I’ve already recommended to about 3 or 4 friends. And the catfish was fried golden brown instead of light yellow. Go, order, eat. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall this place was pretty good. The catfish was amazing & fresh. Wings were good, along with the onion rings. The only thing I’d suggest a hard pass on is the fries. The fries were a waste, no flavor/ seasoning.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is for taste on the fries and fish. The customer service was great shocked to see so many younger adults maybe (early twenties to maybe 1 or 2 early thirties ) running a food joint so smoothly no attitudes and we had a big order and weren’t sure what to order so I know it’s hectic and frustrating it’s frustrating for me as the mom lol but they were patient and informative smiled and were speedy those loaded fries are great and the Fried pickles delicious my whole crew enjoyed it and I was happy with the service cleanliness speed and overall taste of the food definitely a place to try … if you have tiktok I did I short video there Juicydimples87 …

I use to love ordering from here but the price of the wings are absolutely ridiculous. 6 piece with a side and a drink 17$ and then a 10 piece with a side and drink is 21. I just can’t get behind that. Especially when the competitors are cheaper.

Was my first experience with River & Roost I am extremely impressed. Was just a wonderful accident that I found the place. The quality of the food along with the efficiency of such a small staff rarely have I saw a group of people work so harmoniously with such energy with one another that they make it a joy to visit. Was also impressed with the sheer volume of food they moving across the counter and out the drive thru window. I’m definitely going to visit this place many more times in the near future and I live about 2½ – 3 hours away from this fine establishment. Bravo

We found this place by accident….stopped just to check it out.. Wonderful place….the staff was so pleasant and interacting. Very friendly vibe. I had the chicken philly{ Delicious} chicken was very well seasoned and the hoagie roll was so soft and fresh, and even the fries were done to perfection not soggy! Great food and will for sure be back they also serve a superb breakfast I hear. Maybe the next time.
