Found this place with the help of Yelp. A little out of the way but totally worth it. A friendly server greeted us on entry, answering our questions and helping us with a great meal. Savannah was awesome and very informative. We both got tacos because it was taco Tuesday.
They were awesome. They had a great tap and bourbon selection. We were wonderful satisfied and will return whenever we are in the area.

This is either #1 or #2 for the best smash burger in the Chippewa Valley….I can’t completely decide but I’m strongly leaning towards #1! Either way you won’t be disappointed. And the truffle fries! This place has a great view and great food! Never disappointed here. It is a little small inside so keep that in mind if you have a large group.

River Jams is a hidden gem that just happens to be super close to home. The food we’ve experienced here is top shelf from the smash burgers, truffle fries, & chicken wings, to the amazing friday fish fry. My wife is a Florida girl and she’s never had fried shrimp prepared with such consistent perfection as she had gotten here. We love the food, the vibe, the service and the beautiful view of the Chippewa river. The staff is very friendly, young and yet so helpful and mature beyond their ages. They pour great drinks and pay attention to the tables. We run down here 2-3 times per month and have never been disappointed. Keep it up! We’ll be back!

It’s got an awesome local vibe here. The river views are almost as good as the service and the beer selection. The food is solid, and the background music was a great mix of alternative jams. You really can’t go wrong stopping in. I can only imagine how epic this place must be in the summer.

Stumbled upon this restaurant when traveling through the area. Very glad we ate here! We will definitely find our way back next time we travel through. Staff was all super friendly and the burgers and bloody Mary’s were amazing!!

Why were we the only ones here?! We arrived at 4 PM on a Tuesday to find an empty dining room, and a beautiful view. With a prompt greeting, we sat ourselves by the window and were welcomed with menus and a smile. I wish I caught the friendly lady bartender’s name — she was so kind and attentive! The food was STELLAR. (A male appeared for a while who had a phone conversation and watched the working crew before going outside to linger…. an inactive manager, perhaps?) The crew of three we saw working stayed busy with their time, and made us feel comfortable. We’ll definitely return!

I’ve never been disappointed leaving here. I was originally drawn to this place as an out-of-towner looking for a yummy smash burger, and since becoming a local here, I have come back time and time again, not just for the great food – from several yummy choices of smash burgers to burrata w/ crostini… (I’m here for the sprouts ) – but also for the friendly and fun staff, and the relaxing atmosphere on the river, and the uniquely delicious drink specials they host every season. This place truly is a gem.
