Food was good but the kitchen poured blue cheese dressing over EVERY wedge salad. Lots of people complained and asked for other dressings. Other than the salad, the meat was cooked perfectly! Dessert was AWESOME…PEACH COBBLER!

Perfect day for lunch on the patio! Enjoyed the 12 extra large, grilled to perfection shrimp atop a bed of fresh greens, tomatoes, and cucumber with a delicious house made dressing. Iced tea had no bitterness. My husband’s Rueben was thick, perfectly grilled and full of flavor. Lake and golf course made a beautiful backdrop and service great as usual. Only downside was I had to leave and go back to work!

River Grill was an oasis in a part of South Carolina where it’s a challenge to find any semblance of healthy food. Stopped in for lunch and it was not busy at noon on a Saturday. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Thought the Chef Salad was delicious!

The food was good but not what we expected. We were sat in the main dining room because we didn’t know to ask to sit in the pub. We had a limited menu and it’s not burgers, sandwiches and what you see pictured. We asked when sat if there was a different menu and our waitress said no. Seems it would have been an easy fix to say “this is what we serve but feel.free to eat at the pub next door”.

I had the fish and it was under done and all the food was really greasy. I noticed that the waitress was staring at people watching how they act and eat made me feel very uncomfortable. Waitresses should not stare at people food very expensive for how good it is. Will not go back again. Terrible experience. Head Northeast then turn left

As usual I ordered two take out dishes for my mom and myself. The first person that answered the phone hung up on me. The second person Megan was pleasant and took my order. Everything went smooth except that for the past 3-4 years the online menu is always outdated. The food quality is okay, nothing to rant about. The last few times I had ordered a pasta dish and each time it tasted differently. So, consistency seems to be somewhat of an issue. I have seen slight improvements with the menu over the past year. Hopefully, things will go back to the quality that existed prior to the Covid days.

We are not members of the community, but I am glad we are not . If the attitude of the community is anything like the service and respect of the restaurant. We saw firsthand how the members are treated and that we came to enjoy a meal that ended being one of the worst experiences of a lifetime. The so called hostess., and our waitresses had no respect for the treatment of us. Our order was taken and when we finally got our meals after many others ordered and received their meals after we had placed our orders ahead of them. We ordered drinks but not once did we receive a check on us to see if we needed anything. My friends that were with us were simply in astonishment of the service. The waitress was talking to , I guess a friend or maybe a member and just simply ignored us for at least a 20 minute conversation between the two of them. We had to raise our voice and actually tap on the table to get her attention for our checks and even then she kept on talking and came and just more or less threw the checks on the table. Not once was how was everything or please come back. (Which I never will.)
