This is a very nice place, right on the river with outside seating available. Our server was very polite and fast with the drinks and food. My wife had the chicken fried steak and she liked it a lot. I got the bbq burger and asked for it medium but it came out well done and very charred. It was to the point where that’s all I tasted.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and was in town again for my grandmother’s passing which also happened to be my moms 65th birthday. We wanted a nice place on the water to celebrate and were happy to get a table quickly on a Saturday night. We waited about 10 minutes for a table as we wanted to eat inside—outside was still a little too warm in the 105 degree heat. Food, drinks, and service were fantastic. Our server went out her way to make sure we were taken care of. The BK salad was delicious, as was the ribeye, and coconut shrimp (on the specials menu). Don’t forget dessert–the cheesecake is amazing! The views are incredible, especially at sunset.

This place was okay! The food was okay not something I would go back for! Well, 3 star is too harsh and 4 is too good I guess! The service was nice though! We sat outside and could see the lake! That was nice! We tried their bread pudding at the end! That was good though! It was hot and nice! But other food lacked salt I guess! We tried catfish, chicken fried steak and chopped steak! We did not like the fish at all! It had too much bread crumb. Chicken fried steak was okay but I needed salt. The other steak was alright too! But the outside view from the restaurant is nice!

I was wondering why the waitress kept asking me if i wanted salt and pepper..I’ve never had to put salt and pepper on chicken that was already fried. Even the fries came out with no salt. Everything was sooo dry and bland. You take a bite and immediately have to drink something. The out door table and chairs are so uncomfortable.

Seated quickly with no wait. Good food. Large portions. We shared the large chicken fried steak with sides of a house salad, mac & cheese, and added an extra side of sweet potato fries. The 1 meal included 2 steaks smothered in gravy with 2 sides and was more than enough for 2 people.

We come here at least once every summer when we go through Marble Falls to take my son to and from summer camp. The food is classic American comfort food, the cocktails are excellent and the staff are efficient and friendly. If you aren’t bothered by the heat, sit outside overlooking the river. Inside is always air-conditioned and comfortable. Fish tacos, burger and onion rings were all good, as was the chocolate cake. We look forward to our annual visit for the ambiance and experience and recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

Love the decor even tho it seemed more of a hunting lodge instead of something for a restaurant on the water. Menu needs a steak option. It’s good if you want a burger, sandwich or limited fish selections. I had the catfish & it was real good. It was cooked perfect but the batter was a bit off (too much corn meal maybe). The hush puppies are delicious but a wee bit to small. The coleslaw was fresh & really good. The mashed potatoes had a weird texture & bacon taste. My husband had a club sandwich i think. Whatever it was i do remember it was good & the bread was homemade. It seems they use fresh and handmade ingredients when possible. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable & had a great personality. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, the food & the experience. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
