11/25 – The best Crab Rangoon we have ever had! . . . Now back to the review – Parking is a problem if you’re from our of town & don’t know your way around. A very layed back place with a couple TVs on the wall. Sushi seems to be the item of choice here, but that’s not for us. I had wings, the wife tater tot appetizer & we split the crab Rangoon. All were very good. Had about 15 drafts and all were unique, not quite ready for flights. River City Drafthouse was definitely worth the visit.

River City Drafthouse is a true hidden gem. It’s a small, locally owned spot that feels like a classic hole in the wall, but the experience is way above average. The drink selection is solid with some great bucket deals, and the pub food hits the spot every time. The real surprise is the sushi; hands down the best in the city, which you don’t expect from a place like this. I’m serious, try it and tell me I’m not right, especially for the price. It’s the kind of bar where you feel good supporting local while also getting great food and drinks in a laid-back setting. Definitely worth checking out. Plus it’s got Sunday Ticket; which is a win for me.

The headline is you will definitely be shocked with how good the food is here. I’ve had quite a few spicy tuna rolls in my day, and this one took the cake. The wings were also amazing. I love a place you can get such a diverse set of food. The place was very lowkey, but it seems others have caught on, since I saw multiple delivery people come in to get take out! From a drafthouse? Believe it. Obviously, the beer was nice and cold as well and the service was quick. I will definitely be coming back and I hope more people do.

This was our first time back after the new owners have taken over and WOW! We were so surprised by the quality of the food. I’m not a sushi guy but my wife and our friends are and they were raving about it. My hamburger was ridiculously good. Probably the best burger I’ve ever had, no joke. Wings were also shockingly amazing. This is a great place to go of you have a number of folks with a variety of tastes as there is a lot to choose from. Service was awesome and friendly. We are excited to go back!

This place is a true hidden gem. Wings, sushi, burgers, beer, board games? It’s the American dream. Wings and sushi (spicy tuna, salmon avocado) were both incredible and so fairly priced I thought it had to have been a misprint. Staff were very friendly and service was fast. Facility was super clean and you can see the sushi being made at the counter in the back. Without a doubt will be coming back here!

I’ve been here a few times. Rotating selection of craft beer. food is good and reasonably priced. a large portion of the menu is Asian food but it’s all very good. It’s been pretty quiet whenever I’ve been there. Good place to pull up a seat and drink a beer.

This is everything you crave and more. The sushi is outstanding, the Burmese noodles are delicious. The Salmon Poke Bowl is tasty (plus presentation). Their burgers are perfect if You’re craving a grilled taste. Tet and his family is just a wonderful group of ppl! NOW, they have 99¢ wings on WEDNESDAYS!!! Go check them out! Also, I stepped out of my burger comfort zone here and tried their second burger on the menu. Photo is below!!

It has taken us 4 visits before I have reviewed. This is a great local owned restaurant. Small but decent selection of local draft beers and a diverse menu.
The menu has American and Asian appetizers and main course. Something for everyone. The service is prompt and attentive. Very clean, nice and quiet place. They have a few tables on the sidewalk.
We have tried the Bavarian Pretzel which is large enough for 4 people. It came to the table hot and fresh. Pay extra for the beer cheese, it is worth it.
We can’’t get enough of the Burmese Fried Noodles with shrimp. You can get it mild or as hot as you like it. Nice size order and this is our favorite Asian noodle dish in Louisville!
We have tried the wings with the River City Sauce and they were delicious. Hot and lots of flavor, good size wings, and juicy.
The seaweed salad is a must to eat with some of the best sushi rolls in town. Our go to rolls are the S-10 Louisville roll and Spicy Tuna roll.
Plus they have a Happy Hour daily from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. Many good deals on food and all draft beers $1.00 off.
You can’t go wrong with this locally family ran/owned restaurant.
We have not had an issue parking on the street. The parking is metered and it pays to download the Go502 app to pay the meter, especially on Bardstown road area.
