Our coffee has been sourced with the River Bottom Roasters mission & vision in mind: Quality ingredients, ethically sourced, environmentally conscious, & community driven. River Bottom Roasters never buys coffee off a commodity trading floor, rather we work with people in the regions where we source our coffee and we pay them a fair, livable wage for their hard work. Without their knowledge, skill and expertise, River Bottom coffee wouldn’t have that rich, smooth taste our customers have come to expect – you can’t roast perfection out of a sub-par bean, after all! Our farmers are truly our partners, and we treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Tucked inside a small business center, River Bottom Roasters is a cozy little spot with a clean, inviting atmosphere and a cute vibe that fits perfectly with the Williamsport area.
They offer a nice variety of coffee and drinks — I tried the chai tea latte and a bagel, which were both delicious. I also noticed they carry pet products, which was such a charming touch, and they’re pet friendly, which makes it even better!
The staff seemed to be the younger weekend crew — they did their jobs well but weren’t overly friendly. I’m hoping the weekday team brings a little more warmth to the customer experience.
Overall, it’s a great local café worth visiting, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing spot with great coffee and Sunday hours.
I fully support small businesses and choose them over chain establishments whenever possible. However, I also believe that prices should remain reasonable. Spending nearly $30 for a coffee and a bagel or bagel sandwich for two people feels excessive.
In my opinion, there are many other local options that offer equally good coffee and food at more affordable prices.
My real question is. Whats with the petrified wood, are we cursed?
I discovered this coffee shop through Google Maps, and as a big fan of both iced and hot coffee, I had to give it a try. Coffee motivates me and fuels my creativity, especially when I’m traveling as a filmmaker it’s like therapy for me.
Now, for the review! I tried the Chagaccino, and I was really impressed. It was delicious! The place has a great vibe cozy and welcoming. The service was friendly, and the staff made customers feel genuinely happy.
Their Chaga was excellent.

There are so many remarkable little towns sprawled across the United States and because of interstates travelers often miss these gems. I am always grateful when I find local coffee shops while I am on a road trip; especially ones that are unique and have a great sense of community.
River Bottom Roasters is definitely unique whether its the friendly barista with the amazing glasses (I wish I had gotten her name), the wooden canoes hung on the walls, the one of a kind matching Adirondack chairs, or their artsy labels on their coffee bags. As I sat on one of those comfy Adirondack chairs, sipping on my cortado and observing the folks walking in and out of the shop the sense of community was noticeable. The baristas knew customers. Customers warmly greeted other customers. The environment was warm and inviting.
River Bottom Roasters is a great example of a community coffee shop. The sort of place I wish I had down the street from my house. One I could frequent often and be a part of while sipping on their delicious cortados made from their small batched coffee beans.
