Such yummy flavors!! The pizza was cooked just right and the dough was a delicious recipe the cheesesticks were super bomb, as well … the brownies were a decadent dessert and highly recommended .. cash only!!! The cash option is fun because it forces you into the atmosphere, which is a small space, flooded with funny and amusing displays. Thank you for your service and awesome displays of art

Hadn’t been to Riverbend for years and thought I’d check it out again. Was always good, but since they don’t take cards and I’m not a cash carrier it’s a pain having to go to the ATM first, so I haven’t been there in about 10 years. We got a loaded roll, garlic cheese bread, and a large Carnivore. Nothing but positive about the roll. It was quite large and PACKED full of goodness. The Carnivore pizza was piled high and I added onions to half of it. I expected the onions to be diced rather than sliced and since they don’t skimp on toppings there were a lot of them. I wish the bottom crust was more firm. I had to use a spatula to take it out of the box to put it on a plate and committed the ultimate sin by eating it with a fork. I also prefer the cheese to be browned, but it’s a personal preference. The only thing we were disappointed with was the garlic cheese bread slices. There was a lot of parmesan cheese sprinkled over the top of the mozzarella. Honestly, it was too much for us and we only ate one piece each. Total bill was $35, which is about normal.

Called ahead, an hour before close, for a large cheese pizza, which was extremely affordable at $10.99. Lady on the phone was very friendly. Said about 20-25 minutes. I got there at about 22 minutes and the pizza was done. I asked what the “Original Lexys” meant on the website and she explained that her grandfather founded it and later sold it, but their family continued the pizza tradition. Very interesting family history dating back decades, and involving several pizza places.
On to the pizza. The pizza looked fantastic, like the kind I would like. First bite impressions, absolutely incredible. The cheese is bursting with flavor, andeltwd perfectly. The sauce is the perfect amount of zest and tang, with plenty of perfect consistency. The crust was mostly good, had a decent crunch to it, but lacked in some places. Overall I prefer my pizzas be “well done”. The pizza did stay together which I think is important, and didn’t flop. Overall one of the best pizzas in Fort Wayne. 9.6/10 score, would be 9.9/10 if the crust were perfectly toasted. Great pizza.

I was very sad. I braved a snowstorm just to try their pizza because I heard so many good things about it. When I went to pay, they told me it was cash only. Many small local restaurants just charge a 2 percent service fee for credit cards. I wish they would’ve. I ended up going to mama mias just down the road.

I’ve always had good pizza here. The most recent time it was not good. I think the quality is slipping a bit. I know I can do better elsewhere.

It’s been hard to find a good pizza place in Fort Wayne. This takeout-only pizza is good! It has a thicker cheese and toppings layer, which is great even though the crust is always crispy and delicious, too. It’s really got cool decor and quite eclectic when you walk in to the pick up area and they only take cash. The only drawback is that I think some of the toppings like mushrooms are canned and salty, but I was looking for that umami taste and the pizza has it with a really nice sauce. It is takeout only which is too bad because with that cool eclectic decor I would really enjoy eating my pizza and looking at all the vintage wacky signs and trinkets they have from years past. Very nice staff and every pizza is homemade reasonable price with an extra large everything on it around $22 and it’s kind of a rectangle shaped pizza which is fun! So out the door you’re looking at about $25 with the tip, but it will easily feed four people. They also have salads and other things that are really good as well. Make sure you call ahead, especially on the weekends because it can be up to an hour wait, which really isn’t bad and worth the wait but is usually only in the evenings on the weekends.

We’ve had their delish sausage rolls several times and you can’t beat the price! Tonite we got a pizza and it was great! It’s a takeout joint and they have a 2 seat table but lots of stuff hung around so not for dining in. The food is so good I’ll eat in the car!
