Having been on the road for 5 hours we were hungry and just looking for a good burger. Nothing fancy, but not fast food. FOUND IT!!! And more.
They serve a good-sized, flat-top-seared burger that was cooked to a wrist-licking medium-well juiciness. One of the best I’ve had and I’m pretty picky about a simple burger.
Service wasn’t at warp speed but we didn’t wait that long for the food. Basic BBQ joint atmosphere which was clean with friendly staff. Fries were crispy and the iced tea was more than tinted water.
I’ll definitely stop here next trip thru.

The food was delicious❣️ The boudin balls alone is reason enough to come back. Also had the best sweet potato fries I’ve had in any restaurant cooked to perfection. I’m taking home leftovers it was so much food. They’re made us some sauce for our boudin balls and it was delicious too, my honey had to put some on his catfish sandwich. No complaints here

Was pretty disappointed in this restaurant. The reviews were all really good but it did not live up to the hype. Some of our food was tasty. We enjoyed the grilled shrimp, catfish and tater tot’s. We were disappointed with other options. The baked beans appeared to be straight from a can. The stuffed crab was mediocre at best. The coleslaw looked as if it had been made days ago. We didn’t even attempt to eat it. Did not have a good smell. The pickle on the plate with the fish was similar in appearance to the coleslaw. In addition the restaurant was filthy. Black spots of dirt/nastiness all over the floor, dusty everything, a few dollar store decorations randomly hung up. Finally, it literally says steaks in the name and there was not one steak on the menu.

No seafood seasoning at all, shrimp and crab legs are watering. Eggs hard, sausage were discussing . The seasoning was added on after the cooking.

My family just ate here and it was a big crowd. They did a phenomenal job and the food was incredible! The crab legs are top notch. The bbq is incredible. The shrimp was also amazing.

The BBQ tonight was excellent as usual however the waitress had a terrible attitude and basically said she didn’t give a crap about being there and
made excuses for the wait at the register (10+ minutes). She never checked on her customers and and seemed to be more interested in her phone.
The service has never been that good but the way she talked was insulting and rude.
Im sure the owner would have been embarrassed.

First off I think they head a few rookie wait staff they were training when we went with a group of 10. Food eventually got there but it was hot and fresh. I will go back next time im in town.

Food was awful. The food was not seasoned well. Gator bites was shedded not whole. They didn’t have any gloves or bibs. I would not eat there again.

Came across this no-frills 5-star gem on our way through town. The BEST okra I’ve ever had in my life. Frog legs were amazing. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious and huge. Cajun smashed potatoes were delightful. Free soft serve ice cream (with entree) was a great treat as well. We will make it a point to stop here again on our next time through town.

I’ve always have gotten my crawfish from Jonathan. I discovered that he opened a restaurant called River bend. Me and my husband and his cousins went there to eat supper Saturday 5-24-25 we got all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Let me tell you them was the best crab legs and shrimp that I have ever eaten. So next time your looking for some seafood go to riverbend. And his staff is wonderful. Wish I could give him 10 stars.
