Food really has flavor on the meats you can distinguish between one and another. Great service as well with a good dining room even though I mostly use the drive-thru so I can take the food and eat with the family. Their horchata is the best

Best Mexican fast food you can get in town! My wife and I have been dining at Riva’s back when their only locations were in Carson City and Reno. Obviously, they’ve really taken off, can be found across Nevada and then some and we’re so happy that they now have a location here in Ely. Prices are always reasonable, menu selection is extensive and the salsas they offer at their salsa bar are super tasty – we especially love their green salsa. For food, I always enjoy their chorizo breakfast burrito and my wife their bacon one and for lunch or dinner, we love their California burrito, quesadillas and nachos. Service is fast and friendly here and there’s plenty of parking to be found. The outdoor seating is nice but inside can be a bit loud and is on the small side. They really could use some acoustic dampening of some kind as it can get overwhelming at times. Other than that, it can take a bit to get your order during lunch rushes but then, it’s only because they’re so busy with tons of customers. While there are other good Mexican’s fast food joints in town, this is the one I would recommend the most.

It wasn’t bad. They boast best carne asada. It was mid at best. Tasted like it only had salt. Just a typical Americanized Mexican fast food. I ordered a smothered burrito, wings, churro and horchata. The burrito was great, churro was warm and the horchata not overly sweet. My complaint was the wings were cold in the middle. The drive thru was a little slow. It being new, this was expected. Nothing stood out much. Very regular fast food experience.

Usually the food here is good but the Rivas burrito I ordered today was the worst burrito I have ever tried. Couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Tasted like old thick pasty refried beans, burnt meat and way too much salt. I’m really not a picky person but this was just BAD. I even called them. I was nice about it but I thought they should know. Maybe the cook was having a bad day…idk. I won’t order that again.

Easy online ordering and pickup, excellent food. I had the steak burrito and it was awesome. It’s one of only a few places to eat in Ely, so ranking it high because they deserve the customers.

Ordered the steak fries and a steak burrito to go. Ordered online. Easy to order. Text updates. Order showed ready about 10 minutes before I got there, but wasn’t ready when I arrived, but was about 5 minutes later. Food was good and nice size portions.

Went here for the first time today. Didn’t know what to expect. We ordered our food and service was good. We ordered Nachos and asked them for cheese. We were told that they don’t have cheese. Who ever heard of Nachos with out cheese or Salsa. Well first impression wasn’t good. Our first and last time in.
