The wait staff barely came to check on us, and the restaurant was almost completely empty. We saw roaches on the floor and then toward the end I didn’t realize that they charge a tip within the ticket already and I ended up tipping twice. I asked the waitress why they charge an 18% service fee for the tip and she said that we had a party of four or more. It was just me and my friend eating. My friend has a disabled child and the child did not eat anything. At most, it was two adults and one child. I explained this to her, and she said it didn’t matter. I paid through their app and then she came over to get the money again. Overall, she was just rude. I will not go here again.

Don’t let the gas station parking lot fool you. This place is a gas!
Rivals, next door to a fueling station is a place to relax, have cool drinks and good food.
A spacious and athletically adorned walls feature Rivals; State vs. Ole Miss paraphernalia abound.
The usual apps and some unique. Try fried green beans!
Steaks, chicken, burgers and sandwiches, seafood inspired entrees as well.
Salads, sides and other fare.
The filet is tender and cooked well. The salads are fresh w dressings on the side.
The fried green beans are special. The other fried stuffs are regular fried stuffs.
The catfish Julie is a well-seasoned seafood extravaganza. A creamy crawfish sauce over a catfish filet and all served over rice. It’s good.
Great service. Good drinks and a pretty good selection.
Plenty of food and you can’t leave hungry.

My wife and I came in from out of town to celebrate a family members birthday. We did not have a good experience at all! It took at least an hour in a half to get our food. The waitress was very inexperienced and got irritated very easily. The sweet tea was the worst thing I have ever tasted in my 41 years of living! The food was very much so sub-par. The best part was when we left to go back home!

We have family time at least twice a month here. Check out the different entrees we’ve eaten here. There are a few setbacks here, & they are the following: table’s aren’t that clean, the floors are kinda sticky, & the salt & pepper shakers are very nasty. Sometimes, they are under staff, so you must be patient with the service you receive.

$60 for 20 mediocre wings, 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, 4 waters, and one tea. Our party was 2 adults, a 10, 7, and 3 yr old. We were charged a 20% gratuity.
The waitress voluntarily offered to let us mix and match the 20 wings with 5 sauces/4 wings per sauce. She returned with 4 sauces/5 wings per sauce and tried to charge us another full order of wings to get the 5th sauce, which we declined.
The waters were discolored and tasted like rusty spigot water. My kids drink from garden hoses on the farm and they would not drink this water. We were charged $2 per cup of dirty water.
They advertise big bowls of fresh boiled crawfish; their t shirts even have crawfish on them. She informed me they only serve crawfish on Wednesday and Sunday, I reminded her that the day is Sunday, she simply stared at me completely mindless before saying, we do not serve crawfish.
The bathrooms were dirty, nearby tables were left uncleaned for our entire time, and our tabletop was sticky. The best part of this entire ordeal was the also mediocre seasoned fries that were frozen, pre-seasoned fries from any random grocery store.
It takes an awful lot for me to leave a bad review, this place is obviously under new management and is absolute trash.

Well…it was the 4th of July, and many places were closed. We were on a road trip and spending the night in the area. First, I was in shorts, and the chairs were dirty. Yuck. The waitress was friendly, and she was trying, but she needs a little more training. I ordered the hamburger steak, and when my husband ordered the pork chop meal, she indicated that the pork chop would take a little longer. I thought okay, we aren’t in a hurry. Well, she brought my salad, iceburg lettuce, in a Styrofoam bowl with plastic utensils, along with my meal. My husband got his salad. His meal followed later. Someone should tell her to bring both salads, then tell the kitchen to have both meals ready to come out hot at the same time. Timing was bad. She was running around helping people. She was trying. Then when she ran my credit card, it was not for our table! We were charged wrong. She said she voided it, and re-ran it. Now I’ll have to watch my credit card charges. Just not the best experience.
That said, both meals were pretty tasty.

After hearing from a few locals that Rivals has some of the best steak around, we decided to check it out. It was a late summer afternoon and we were only 17 minutes away, so why not.. The inside was kinda lively even with a small crowd of what appeared to be the mostly locals. We sat at the bar ordered a few cold Corona’s and a T bone steak, Medium, baked potato and a house salad. The bartender was also a server and apparently the cashier as well, but she seem to be handling the task. The steak was cooked to temperature and seasoned ok, nothing to be celebrated but ultimately no complaints.

Spent about 100 dollars on garbage, poor customer service and missing items. Paid 3 dollars for ham and got a very small portion. 1dollar for an egg that they forgot,also forgot salad dressing.What a waste!!!!! Only Greenville people like this place because they haven’t been outside of Washington county

The Crawfish was delicious and our server was on top of things and he was extremely helpful, upbeat and very nice!!!! It was happy hour and the beer was 1.50 so that always is a plus!!!! Well deserved 5 stars!!!
