Food was very delicious! I had the 945 burger with truffle fries and Cowboy salad with the seasonal mule drink and a beer! 10/10 food and service. Atmosphere was pleasant. Customer service top notch. Highly recommend

Service started off slow. Almost 5 minutes before we were asked for drink orders, but things quickly got better. The egg roll appetizer was delicious. The cowboy salad was excellent. Really liked the taste of the schnitzel pork sandwich with the pickled cabbage and mustard sauce. Fries were really tasty. Burger was great. Trio of tenderloins were a bit chewy for some of the bites. Overall enjoyed our first experience and would likely come back again.

This restaurant has quietly matured over time, settling into a reliable presence that rewards repeat visits rather than chasing novelty. We have dined here on several occasions, and it does seem to improve with age, particularly as a neighborhood destination for drinks. In warmer months, the rooftop is a genuine asset—an inviting spot for a pre-dinner cocktail or a relaxed evening out.
On our most recent visit, a cold evening, we were seated immediately, a welcome efficiency that set a positive tone. The dining room’s very high ceilings, while attractive, do contribute to a chill during winter months, making the atmosphere less cozy than one might hope on such nights. Service, however, was attentive and efficient throughout the meal.
The bar continues to be a strong point. A well-made martini impressed my wife and was fully consistent with our prior experiences here. The French onion soup stood out as a comforting and well-executed choice, particularly satisfying on a cold night. Entrées were solid and competently prepared, though ultimately unremarkable—good, but not memorable.
Overall, this is a restaurant that delivers dependable food and service without striving for distinction. While the kitchen does not reach for the extraordinary, the drinks alone make it a worthwhile stop, especially when paired with the rooftop in summer or a well-crafted cocktail at the bar year-round.

Hadn’t been here in quite a while but will be back sooner. The service was great and the food fantastic. My wife had the Friday fish special it was a beautiful piece of halibut home made mashed potatoes and excellent cole slaw. I had a combination corned beef and pork. Schnitzel sandwich which was so large. I brought half home. they also had a live musician who is excellent and played some very good music. Definitely will be back soon

We came in there with a sour mood from personal issues. Our weightresses were highly accomodating and sweet to us. We had the girl who wears the glasses she was really caring and helpful. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and buttered broccoli. My food was delicious. We also had appetizers cheese curds also top notch. By the time we left we were all full and we were cheered up by the warm and sweet staff, good atmosphere, and the good food. Excellent night out. I recommend this place a lot.

Food was great and if it wasn’t for the fact that our table was completely ignored for the vast majority of our time there, it probably would’ve been a good spot! We had to go up to the bar multiple times during our stay just to get service, even after dinner it took 20mins just to get 1 slice of cake! We even had to go to the bar to pay our bill because we were ignored again! Horrible service

Edit: I can’t seem to find a contact email or where to DM you @owner

We held our annual work holiday party at The Rivalry Alehouse for the 4th straight year. They have the cutest banquet room upstairs that has it’s own bar area. The servers (Amber and Jasmine) did a fantastic job. As the organizer, I didn’t need to worry about a single thing, which allowed me to also enjoy the event. My contact there, Christine Larsen, has been a pleasure to work with each and every year. If you need to host a gathering, then this place and the delicious banquet food is the perfect place for you!

We have been here about 10 times so far and the food has been great. My husband had the ribeye special tonight and he shared some of his shrimp, included with the selection. It was so tasty! The shrimp had excellent texture, too.
The time before, I had Shepherds Pie, one of the best I ever had.
The atmosphere is a tad funky-tables and booths are scattered around. I like the space between tables. My suggestion would be to have more consistent table arrangements but maybe when really busy, it might work better. It can be really noisy, so conversation can be a challenge.
Parking is funky, too, but Antioch doesn’t have much room for spacious parking.
The staff can vary from awesome to tepid in personality.
Overall, it is a solid restaurant with good food, a far cry from standard bar food. For once, in this area, we have a bar, but with creative food. Keep up the good work!

We ordered food and they delivered everyone’s food but mine. No communication, nothing; just everyone got their food but me. They sent a text afterwards with a refund. I guess that means they didn’t have it or something, but it would have been the most basic customer service to at least communicate beforehand.

Great experience! Our server was Hayden and he was amazing. He didn’t even need a notepad to take our order! You can tell he is passionate about his job! Checked in on us several times, made us drinks and brought us plenty of napkins. Food was really good!
