Visited Rittenhouse Grill while in town visiting a friend, and it did not disappoint. The ribeye was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was fresh and perfectly chilled, and the wedge salad, which was crisp, creamy, and beautifully balanced.

The restaurant has a classic, old-school Wall Street vibe—dark wood, leather seating, and an elegant, timeless feel. Service was quick, professional, and attentive without being overbearing.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

Highly recommend Rittenhouse Grill and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Philadelphia!

From the moment we walked into Rittenhouse Grill until the end of the evening, every detail contributed to a warm, polished, and inviting atmosphere.

We started at the bar with pre-dinner cocktails while a pianist played and sang familiar melodies that instantly set a relaxed tone. Christian welcomed us warmly and made an excellent Martini.

When we were seated, Michelle greeted us with a genuine smile. Throughout the evening, she struck the perfect balance — attentive and thoughtful without ever hovering. Her recommendations were spot on, and her professionalism felt natural and sincere.

We began with Clams Casino and Escargots, both wonderfully seasoned, and thoroughly enjoyed them. For our main course, we each ordered the NY Strip, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. It was tender, rich, and buttery, with a true melt-in-your-mouth texture. Classic sides of Au Gratin Potatoes and Creamed Spinach complemented the steak beautifully. We finished with an indulgent Hot Fudge Sundae, a delightful throwback to a classic dessert done right.

Toward the end of the evening, John stopped by our table to check in. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and his suggestion of a Bas-Armagnac and a 20-Year Tawny Port was the ideal way to conclude the meal.

Bottom Line: A refined yet welcoming fine-dining experience with expertly prepared dishes and a staff that genuinely understands hospitality.

My daughter and I had an amazing time at the Rittenhouse Grill! We were greeted by an enthusiastic host, coats were hung up and promptly seated.
Our server was funny, helpful and charming. The live piano music was a delight and the overall atmosphere was very enjoyable!
Our food was perfect! We shared a Filet Mignon and a Caesar Salad, as well as a side of corn “off the cob” and some steak fries.
By the end of our meal, we only had a little room left in our stomachs and thanks to our server, guided to have a delicious ice cream sundae! No regrets!
I would definitely recommend having dinner here! If we have the chance, we are going again!

Took the Mrs. for a romantic Saturday night dinner. The food was good. The Mrs had the Ribeye and I had the Rittenhouse Chicken. I wish we were told that the vegetables portions were large enough to share. I could have saved a few bucks. The pianist was a nice touch. My margarita was terrible. I’m not sure what was going on with the bar tender. Overall it was an enjoyable night

Great food and great attention to detail as far as service. The piano player background music was awesome as well. Wish they had a higher end bourbon selection, but food was outstanding and service as well.

We booked the private space for a work event. They only had one high top, but the space was great, it wasn’t too loud and service was excellent we did hors douvres and they just kept bringing plate after plate we were never waiting for more food and they came around regularly to top up drinks. Food was excellent! The restaurant is inside a another building, so my only gripe was it wasn’t the easiest to find compared to something with more signage and an entrance from the street (this was particularly relevant for us doing a work event so people could find it easily, but that being said I didn’t hear any of our guests complain).

This restaurant is nothing short of amazing. The food absolutely blew me and my family away when we came here for Thanksgiving dinner, along with the dessert. The waiters were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere made it especially enjoyable. Would highly recommend if you can afford the expensive meals.

The atmosphere set the tone for what became a most enjoyable dining experience. The stylish black dining room decor with gold trim was elegant. Art deco accents added an exclamation point to the beautifully appointed interior. The Rat Pack stylized music brought the entire package together. The service was friendly, attentive and professional. The food was very good. The Rittenhouse Cut prime rib was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The 16 oz. Ribeye was tender, juicy and seasoned just right. The sides were good compliments but portion sizes were smaller than similar steakhouses in the area at the same price point. Our wine The Franc a California Cab Franc was good but served above ideal temperature. The wine selection was not extensive with only a handful of selections per region. Overall though a fine dining experience.

Vegetarian perspective

Food – Zero veggie options on the happy hour menu. Main menu had one vegetarian item on main menu, an appetizer (not vegan).

Service – Felt like we were bothering the waiter. One example is he dropped off my friends drink and left super quick. More of us wanted to order but we didn’t have the opportunity because of how quickly and uninterested he was.

Atmosphere – leopard theme was cool! Definitely upscale feeling, nice feeling for a friends night out or date. We’re in our 30s and definitely the youngest.
