We had a truly exceptional experience at Ritrovo in Shelton. The atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and stylish, creating the perfect setting for a date night. It feels intimate and energetic at the same time. While the tables are a bit close together during peak hours, it actually adds to the lively, European-style dining vibe rather than detracting from the experience.
Gabby was stellar from start to finish. She was attentive without hovering, personable, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening.
Jamie, the General Manager, was equally impressive. He was excellent and very friendly, making a point to engage with guests and ensure everything was running seamlessly. That level of leadership and presence elevates a restaurant from good to outstanding.

The owner Antonio and his wife Ada were incredible!! The food and service were top notch! Our first time visiting this beautiful restaurant and it won’t be our last! The Owner came and introduced himself to us along with his wife and they truly made you feel like you are a part of the family. What a warm atmosphere! We had a great time! The past Sunday we had our wedding at Ritrovo’s and it was incredible. We had the ceremony in the small room next to the bar and then we had 35 people that took up half of the dining room for dinner. Everything was absolutely amazing from the appetizers, to the pasta to the main course. Jamie and his staff were wonderful, everyone was super attentive and paid attention to all the details. We highly recommend this restaurant for any type of event you plan to have, you will not be disappointed.

I came tonight with my brother for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere warm. Our waitress Gustavo was very nice and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and the manager who were also very polite and welcoming and made the experience even more special. Definitely will be coming back!!
