I went here with a friend for the Kwanzaa celebration. The food was hot fresh and plentiful. Very flavorful. The staff there were very friendly and I had a great time. I will definitely go back They offer karaoke on Wednesdays and I might give it a try.
Parking is somewhat limited, but it seems to be a great place with lots of potential I can see them either expanding or getting a second location sometime in their future.

I’ve mainly got their oxtail and white rice, but I’ve tried a few others and I must say it’s allll delicious. 10/10. Come try them. Plus they have music!!!

Chicken curry was amazing. The chicken was likely the most tender I’ve had. Beans and rice were also delicious and a generous portion. The owner’s daughter took my order and chatted with me while I waited. Very nice people and great food!

Just passing through, we found this place on Google maps and thought the food photos from other patrons looked good. We try very hard to patronise local, family small businesses which can be hard to find nowadays. The food was authentic, plentiful and extremely tasty. Often Oxtail can be “chewy”, but this was slow cooked and soft, the rice was delicious, the fish was also very good. Drinks were provided with no ice – just a bottle of room temperature iced tea and a charge of $3.50 (no refills!). It was a Saturday lunchtime and the place was completely empty. Shame because the food was so good! I dinged 1 star because of the service. We were the only ones in the place and despite my asking twice, the food still took 45 minutes to come out. I explained we had to get back on the road, but it didn’t seem to make a difference to the young man (I think he looked about 14). Also didn’t appreciate the plastic knife and fork or the fact that despite asking the music was blaring, got turned down, and then turned up again 20 minutes later. If we’re in the area, we would return for this delicious food, but probably do take out.

Mr Ritho is a warm host to his spot. Promised me a hearty meal. What I recieved far exceeded my expectations. He put his “word” on it, as one sees it. Not only was this a great meal, it was one of the greatest of my lifetime.
This man has owned a restaurant in Haiti. He brings a Carribean, expert knowledge of cuisine we are lucky to get to experience even once in our lives.
My purchase was oxtail with red beans & rice. For a couple years I’ve learned about oxtail on Instagram but had never tried it. Mr Ritho’s was the 1st I got to taste. It IS amazing! The portion was so large, I could only finish half. It really WAS one of the best meals of my lifetime. I’m thankful that his interpretation of the classic “Oxtail” meal was my first sample. A supercharged meal of protein, carbohydrates, & healthy fats to see me through tommorow’s work.
If you wish to eat corporate food at the cheapest price, go ahead. If you want world-class taste, try this spot. Guarantee, you will get more than you pay for.
Next time I come to Bainbridge, I’m ordering from this spot.

Have I mentioned that we like to enjoy different cultures and cuisines in any previous posts? Well, here is a newer gem of an experience that is sure to please the palette. One with a caribbean flair! Simple food with an abundance of flavor awaits your mouth. Do yourself a flavorful favor and adventure out into something different from traditional southern cuisine, although there are a few menu items that could ease the tension and look familiar. I even indulged in a semi-private opportunity to sing a karaoke song. The stage was just too inviting. Ha!

Visited Bainbridge for a work meeting and another guest at the hotel I was staying at suggested this place. Omg, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I spoke to sweet 15 year old who took my order. This is a family-owned business. The food was delicious, the pikliz avec plantain . I felt like home ! I also ordered the grio with rice and beans. So good!! I’ll stop by before leaving to take back to Atl for sure. Authentic Haitian with Fufu on the menu as well. Really nice ❣️

Ok-this place was SO good! We started with the Turkey, moved on to some Chicken and Tilapia….seriously I cannot rave enough on just how good the food was! So much flavor-there were 5 of us and everyone just kept saying “oh wow-oh wow” haha! Even my 18 year old son who only ever gets chicken tenders polished his meal off!
Ritho – the Caribbean guy- was so fun!
We will definitely be back!
