Not only has Rita added her own touches while preserving the 1961 charm of this gem of a supper club, but she has also carried on the warm, welcoming spirit.
Rita is connected with the original owners’ family, who have passed down recipes from the broasted chicken to the top secret old fashioned mix. Don’t miss it!
We slowed down our pace on a lovely October Sunday here with friends starting out at the bar for the game and moving to the dining room for supper. Rita and her son had our table ready, and Debbie took care of us from there. We had THE best cream of chicken soup and spinach salad with warm bacon dressing along with other salad bar classics.
For dinner…..Broasted, Broasted, Broasted. Pork chops, chicken, and potatoes. The Sunday baked chicken special was fall off the bone and served with homemade mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing.
An excellent cap to our trip to Twin Rivers, and can’t wait to come back!

Rita’s supper club was a pleasant surprise for broasted chicken! The bar was huge as well as the place. The salad bar was super fresh and everything looked very clean. Rita was also our bartender that night and she was super friendly and personable. Every person that left the dinning hall also said goodbye to her before they left. This could be the next up in coming big supper club on the map! Excited to see what the future holds for Rita and her family! Also had a delicious grasshopper ice cream drink to finish the night!

When entering at the main entrance, the floor is warped and a senior person with our group almost lost their footing. The bathrooms are cold and dark. The prime rib was terrible!! Mostly fat and tasted like old meat. Two people at our table ordered medium but they were cooked well. They looked like ribeyes, not prime rib. It also looked like they were already cut individually and then frozen, perhaps thawed and refrozen giving them the old meat taste. Not worth $39. The pork chops were tough and hard to cut thru. The broasted chicken was very good! The salad bar was just ok. The peas looked like they came out of a can. The bacon bits were way over-smoked leaving a smoky aftertaste for hours. The dinner rolls were cold and dried out, not worth eating. That was our first visit there and we will not return.

We visited Rita’s recently and had a very nice meal.
For those that live in the Two Rivers area, Rita’s is located in the former Machuts Supper Club building on Hwy 42. The interior looks like it has seen some updating since being Machuts.
We were greeted right away and our server was friendly and told us about the specials. The soup and salad bar is plentiful and the entrees were pretty good too. If you are in the area Rita’s is worth a stop in and try it out for yourself.

I had heard mixed reviews when Rita’s first opened. Its always tough when a Supper Club changes hands because you are always comparing it to what it was. We ended up here last Saturday by accident. I can say without hesitation I’m glad we did! The prime rib was excellent. The service was great. Bartenders were attentive and kept the drinks full. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We’ve visited twice now and both were great experiences. Bar staff is friendly and greeted us quickly each visit. Seated quickly and salad bar is included with each entree and was filled with fresh favorites. Salas bar soups were both a hit! We have tried the breasted chicken (one of the best we’ve had), baked haddock and chicken stir fry. All were great. Great selections of desserts and both visits we were thrilled with every choice. Definitely a wonderful supper club!

As a super fan of the former Machut’s, we had to check out Rita’s. Although the atmosphere was a bit subdued, the food was dynamite! We ordered our favorite dish, the broaster chicken, and it was as delicious as Machut’s! The wait staff was super friendly and made our visit wonderful. We will definitely be back again.

Went for valentines day – I ordered the 16 ounce prime rib and lobster the lobster was good and the salad bar was decent – but the “prime rib” more like chuck steak was 1/16 inch thick maybe and so tough and old – it was 8 ounces at best and the fat was 3 ounces and the toughest cheapest piece of old meat I have ever had . I was surprised they would actually serve it to anyone . 41 dollars for that was terrible – don’t get the prime rib here . My wife got the chicken it was better than my piece of old meat .

Ordered the Filet Mignon and it smelled funny but it was tough to cut and chew. For $48 I expected a much better cut of steak because at medium rare it should have melted in my mouth. My friend ordered the Pork chops and they were under seasoned and bland and also tough. When we left the owner never asked how our mea

If they worked really hard it could be lackluster, currently it is downright bad. The ambiance is that of a nursing home cafeteria. The steak my fiance was served was over done, flavorless, and so hard to chew she spit it into her napkin. We didn’t eat any of the steak. The shrimp were obviously made from a frozen package, and that was the highlight of the meal. The drinks along with everything else was highly overpriced. Finally, when I politely brought up my concerns and they gave us the bill, they wouldn’t take anything off of it in consideration of our poor experience. Not a dime. In conclusion, the steak was tough and overcooked when ordered medium rare. The shrimp were decent, but not made in house. And the drinks were okay but really pricey. I will NEVER be going back.
