We stopped by Dana Point to visit Salt Creek and to my surprise, there was a Rita’s! We’re from Philadelphia so we were very surprised and happy to find a Rita’s! We ordered a blueberry and watermelon gelati and it was delicious! The custard YUM. The Italian ice— perfect consistency! Thank you for your fine establishment!

We love Rita’s and this is a great location. Vasso, the owner with her husband, is kind and always greets us with a smile. I am not an ice-cream person, but THIS vanilla custard with mango Italian ice is so yummy. We visit Laguna then drive to Dana Point just for Rita’s. The gorgeous Dana Point Headlands is a 3 minute drive and Strand’s Beach is nearby. We don’t have a Rita’s near Pasadena so we consider it a luxury 🙂 My daughter loves the “peanut butter mudslide concrete”. Located in a shopping center so plenty of parking.

Many choices of dessert here. Italian ice, custard, ice cream, etc. We came for the custard and got the vanilla/chocolate swirl on a cone. It was smooth, creamy and took care of the sweet tooth craving. Only wish there was more seating. There were two tables closer to the supermarket. Long line and consistent but it moved fast.

We drove from Los Angeles to try this place and it was very delicious and worth the trip. The ice cream was very tasteful and light. The Italian ice was very sweet and had many flavors to choose from. The staff member was nice and let us try different flavors. it is a small shop but tons of parking to park at.
