I love Italian ice, super glad to finally have made it here. I got mine with custard, want to try some of the other Italian ice flavors in the future. I’ll definitely be back. wish there was a bit more seating, but it’s a pretty small store.

Id love to leave a good review because the ice cream is awesome but you have a girl working here named Nicole who apparently doesn’t know what customer service is.
Nicole agressively needs an attitude adjustment.
She snapped at my fiancé for ordering a medium concrete ice cream telling him “they only come in one size” there are a million tones she could have said this in that would have been fine, but you don’t talk to a customer like they’ve just insulted you by not knowing size rules.
I ordered a sundae. I haven’t been to a Rita’s in probably 5 years….. I wasn’t aware you were supposed to get 2 toppings until I looked it up after the absolute trash response I got from Nicole. I haven’t had a service worker be this rude to me in years.
When you look at the picture on the menu or have had a sundae anywhere else its ice cream and chocolate fudge. I ordered a brownie sundae. I didn’t even get a verbal response, I wasn’t asked about toppings she just walked to the register, rang me up, walked away to refill the ice cream machine and started making it. She goes to get the brownie, it’s so hard she can’t cut through it so she starts using her hands (no gloves, definitely hasn’t washed her hands in the last 10 minutes I was standing there and after touching multiple things), then shoves it into the ice cream with her hands. If you couldn’t get through a brownie with a knife what makes you think I’m going to be able to eat it with a plastic spoon????
She hands it to me and says “here”
I said “do you guys not put fudge or the stuff from the picture on your sundaes?” She rolls her eyes, snatches it from me and says “we can I guess”. Again I had no idea that you’re supposed to get two toppings on these, that’s where the sprinkles and fudge come in, but I wasn’t asked or even given the opportunity to even ask for it until after it was made and got spoken to like I did something wrong by asking for what I already paid for.
Having a bad day is one thing, but if you’re having such a bad day that you’re incapable of doing your job or offering customers any kind of service when you work in the service industry maybe you should go home. I cant describe the tone and nasty looks from this girl. She clearly doesn’t like her job very much. I spent $20 to get trash service and paid extra for an item that was too stale to eat and went right in the trash.

This place is good except for the workers. I get that it’s annoying when some arrives at closing but that’s not when I got there. I got there at 8:50, 10 minutes before closing and the door was already locked. Ok that’s fine I will just knock to get the attention of the 2 teenage female employees near the register. They don’t respond. That’s fine they probably didn’t hear so I knock louder, this time both of them turn around and laugh then go into the back. It’s fine maybe they thought I was one of their friends. It’s now 8:53 and I’m constantly knocking and opening and closing the barely movable door so the bell wing ring and notify them. 8:55 They come back to sweep with their heads down. Ok maybe they are deaf, I ring the bell at least 5 times and around a minute later they come back look me in my eyes and shake their heads. I mouth “you aren’t closed” and they keep shaking their heads, I then take out my phone and point to the time to which the reply to by making a gesture as if they were shooing me off like a bird. I point again and tell them they aren’t closed again and then one says “I am going to call the police” and then does the worst acting i have ever seen of her pulling out her phone, randomly tapping on it and then putting it to her ear.She made the mistake of turning around and showing me her bland pink and blue back screen on her phone. I drove 28 minutes to get Italian ice for my little brother who’s been crying all day because he loves this place. We come all the time and usually the staff is the best but I guess some lies were said during hiring because obviously these 2 young ladies aren’t fit for the job. I sat in the rain for ten minutes begging for someone ego answer and I was treated like garbage. I got a picture of one of them but the other I don’t have a picture. This was from 8:50-9pm on Tuesday, September 16. This place is usually the best but today I genuinely felt treated like garbage and I hope these girls are taught better.

Coming from the East Coast, we never find a Rita’s. Glory be! We found one … that’s open year round!
If this is new to you, Rita’s basis is Italian ice. The GOOD stuff. It’s tasty, and nothing like it on a hot day.
But every other Rita’s we knew closed at Labor Day. Boo!
Did I mention that their frozen custard is other worldly? And that they have taken to making yummy things with both custard and Italian ice?
A misto is a cool concoction you can sip. Very advised. The blend of flavors and textures is ambrosial.
A gelato is layered custard and Italian ice. The perfect choice when you can’t decide what you’d like!
The gentleman who served us gave off owner vibes, but was very nice.
And you can ask for a taste of the iced, which can guide the uncertain.
Four stars…you will love it.

I had no idea about this awesome frozen dessert location until driving into this plaza by accident! Looks like this chain has rotating flavors of custard and Italian ice that you can sample before buying. I loved the watermelon with actual tiny pieces of fruit in the Italian ice.

The ladies at the customer were very nice and patient with my indecisive children and even recommended the child size for my toddler. The brownie sandwich was amazing and the custard and Italian ice were delicious. We got lemon Italian ice, butter pecan, orange and strawberry custard amongst all of us.. definitely will be back! They also have frozen coffee.

CUSTARD HAPPINESS! Yes we loved Rita’s! The menu is full of options but we got the soft serve mixed with toppings(concrete) and Italian ice with soft serve on top, can’t go wrong with either of those! Clean atmosphere and service was top notch! We will be frequent visitors!

It used to be a halfway decent place.But it seems every time I go now.The they are out of everything or the machine’s broken, or they only have vanilla. I doubt if I’ll ever go again, especially for the prices that they’re charging
