Hidden gem, this place is amazing for your ice cream/cold sweet tooth. If you like blue raspberry get the blue raspberry Italian ice & thank me later!! Staff is very friendly, clean environment sad that I’m moving further away. My family & I will definitely be returning to try more menu items.

Drove all the way here because the Kettering store was closed and ended up leaving empty handed. Went to order and the lady asked us to wait because she needed to make a door dash order. We were the only one in the store. There was not dasher in the store. Clearly she didn’t want to serve my family of 6. She then gets on the phone. She takes a call and then proceeds to make the door dash order. Me and my family left instead of dealing with the lack of customer service.

Absolutely love Rita’s! Every time I visit, I’m blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything is. The Italian ice is always smooth and packed with flavor — perfect on a hot day. Their custard is rich and creamy, and the combination of the two is unbeatable. The staff is always friendly and fast, even when it’s busy. My wife and I were I town from Texas and we were looking for a great ice cream spot. We found Rita’s on internet but we got there a few minutes too late as they broke down the shake machine. The owners kindly let us know they had just broke down the machine for the night as they were closing in 5 minutes. As we were leaving and about to get into our car, one of the owners rushed out and said “come on back in, we would be glad to make it for you”! This was above and beyond what we expected! They were so friendly and the shakes were absolutely delicious!! We enjoyed them so much, we came back the next day for another round. The place was packed and now we can see why!

My favorite Rita’s! They are so nice every time, and the store is incredibly clean. You can tell that the owners take pride in their shop. I recommend the Swedish Fish gelati, its my go-to every time!

We absolutely love Rita’s and are so happy they are in our neighborhood! As someone with food allergies it’s really nice to be able to eat dessert somewhere. They also have some great flavor options in the Italian Ice. My daughter and husband love their concretes. The owners and workers are all wonderful. They are really supportive of the local schools and sports in Miamisburg too. The inside is always clean and well taken care of. They are also awesome if you have pets. We have been able to bring in our dog when ordering and they always give us a pup cup for him. He loves when he realizes we are taking a family walk down to Rita’s too.

Door dashers get to cut in line and during my last visit the dashers were able to get custard but as soon as customers in the store (me,my wife and my friends) made it to the counter to order the custard machine was mysteriously down

I asked for a wild cherry & vanilla custard blend. They made a chocolate & cherry blend but insisted it was vanilla/cherry. It was not! There were a lot of people waiting, so I didn’t argue just bought the blend & left. Make sure you watch when they make your drinks. They are unreliable & will not fix a mistake, if they make one. Service was slow & questionable.

I can’t say enough good things about Rita’s. I was a fan when I lived in Philly 25 years ago and was thrilled to find one here in Ohio. It’s not just the delicious sweets they have but they are the kindest, most welcoming people EVER!! I make the 35 minute drive to the Miamisburg location (even when the other is open) just to see them and of course get my cotton candy blender!!! If you have not tried it yet, I highly recommend you run don’t walk to Rita’s and make sure to get the rewards app for freebies!! I promise, your summer will be better because of them!!!
