Used to love going to Rita’s years ago. I was excited to have one by our new house….products are ok, not much custard in the bottom of the gelati, but the prices are absolutely insane. Recommend going to Jeremiahs Italian Ice it’s literally the same thing for a lot cheaper. Cost way too much.

On Sun Feb/22/06 8:45 pm or so I went to pick up an online order at the online pick-up window. The women in there had just taken orders from 4 customers. I could see a take-out bag set by the window. They ignored me and started making the orders for the other customers. Finally, the blond lady
asked about my pick-up order, and said it wasn’t ready, so she started making it again. Right when she was about finished with it, the dark-haired lady picked up the take-out bag that had been setting there melting and handed it to me. I said, “That’s been setting there all this long wait, please give me the one the other person has just made.” She would not do so. I was a little shocked that she didn’t care enough to give me the non-melty ice cream. Also, what is the point of ordering online for quick pick-up if the employees prioritize the customers at the order window overlooking the pick-up window customers?

For of all it took a couple of minutes to get my order. Even though two people saw me at the window. I ordered a concrete and imagined my surprise when the brought me a pint size cup. I can’t believe they charge 9 dollars for 12 oz. I am sorry but you can go Culvert and get larger concrete mixer for 3 dollars less. This was ripped off with crappy service. Less learned. How your put cream in cup with no top lid.

Their ice cream is ok. However, having been a customer for years, they cut their portions so small, I’m still hungry and would have to order twice as much, but their prices still remain so high. Won’t order from them again.

I went there last night 9/20/2025 I got the brutal chocolate chips and cookie doe ice cream looked like a drink by the mango lease it was gross I ask her to make another flavor and they refuse even after I explained I thought I was getting a drink with chocolate is was mainly vanilla . She and the guy refused to remake anything for me or fix the problem . Even after I tipped so I’ll never be ba k here again don’t waste your time

VERY nasty server (young girl with glasses) was training another young girl and was very rude and condescending to her in front of the customers. The tables were left a bit dirty by previous customers so I asked for a wet wipe to clean it because it doesn’t bother me to do it myself plus the employees were busy. The girl with the glasses told the trainee in a very rude tone to clean the tables. I was so embarrassed for the poor girl. It was very uncomfortable. Sure girl with glasses got her taste of karma when a customer came in shortly after and was rude to her but her initial behavior made our first experience at Rita’s unpleasant. Changing my original review of 1 star to 2 because the products are really good and Owner’s engagement with reviews make it count.
