We came right before they closed! The owner was very kind and personable and let us order and sit in the store to eat our ice cream! We got to talking that it was after closing once we left. I don’t think he minded though – we appreciate your hospitality! We will be back 🙂

We’ve been coming since the summer and we’ve been hooked since. Husband and I can’t go a week without Rita’s, the owners are the sweetest people ever! always so kind and patient, never in a rush to serve you and they take their time to serve everyone. They are always happy to serve their guests, their store is always so clean and well kept!!! And the custard and ice always delicious. It always hits the spot, you get so much for your money. I had to take a pint of their flavored custard because it’s my favorite and the owner made sure my pint was FULL. lol I always love to come back, and I still have yet to try all their flavors. You never get bored of the flavors bc there are so many that rotate. Thank you for keeping this little shop open all year round. We will not stop coming lol!!

I was excited to get some fresh Italian ice. Their menu advertises that they make their Italian ice “fresh daily with real fruit.”
I ended up getting a flight with Lemonade, watermelon, and Tropical Island. I was disappointed to hear from the staff that these are not made from real fruit as advertised.
If you just want something to cool you off and like fruit made from concentrate, this may satisfy your tastebuds. This did not hit the spot for any of us to be honest, and most of it went in the garbage. I had a taste of the vanilla custard as well, and it tasted like frozen butter.
Positives from this visit was there is plenty of outdoor seating, service was fast, and glad the staff was honest. Even though no one can hide the fake fruit taste from these Italian Ice flavors.

Sooo good!! Ritas Italian ice is the best. It gives you just the right amount of sweetness and the flavor options are great. We love visiting here because the staff is friendly and patient lol. Our kids can never make up their mind on flavors, so it’s great having a cup of 2-3 different flavors. (p.s- We also love that they play K-Love radio station.)
Update: we came only to get a few small cups and left with pints. Lol, cotton candy us one of our favorites, sweet, but good!

Rita’s is always a good time. The man that works there is always super nice, always offers our kiddos samples to make sure they pick a flavor they’ll like and is so patient when they take 2948527 years to pick one. I tried their cookie sandwich on this recent visit and totally recommend.
