The people are very nice. The lot trauma is for no vanilla custard and no plans to get any with still a week to go. Vanilla custard is your main ingredient and you’re just giving up? But mainly, hooooo boy talk about shrinkflation. The size of the concrete has shrunk AND the price is JACKED. A point of Haagen Daas is cheaper! Oh Rita… Sorry to see you’ve taken the path of Five Guys.

Me and my boyfriend always go to this location. It’s never been a problem to get two different flavors of ice in one cup; I used to work at a Rita’s, so I’m very aware how it works. Today I went to get Swedish fish and Mango half-and-half and was denied that, told they don’t do that, and given some attitude by the female employee.

When Rita’s, Edgewater Maryland found out it was my birthday, they gave me my mango gelati for free. Even offered me rainbow sprinkles but I passed on that. Total happiness!!

Just out for tips they shove the jar in middle of the window so you can’t get your order without reaching around it
service is just ok

We love Rita’s at least most locations. A few seem to skimp on flavor when making the ice. They have many flavors and the gelatis are they best. I only wish they had a tip line. These kids work hard each day and rely on a tip jar. In this day and age of pay apps and debit / credit cards no one keeps cash on hand and the kids get stiffed unintentionally. I know it’s corporate going on the cheap so stop it.

Ice cream shops are a dime a dozen but finding one that actually caters to their intended clientele, children, is rare. Rita’s, in addition to consistently offering excellent product, always pays attention to making the kids feel welcome and taken care of. Their employees are patient and kind to the little ones. Thanks Rita’s.

Love Rita’s, so it’s not the product that is 3 stars. BUT, custard is an integral part of the operation, and twice this location has had custard issues. The first time, vanilla overheated, so they only could sell chocolate. I did get to try my gelato with chocolate, which wasn’t too bad actually. And the last time I went, they had no custard! I left and drove to the other Rita’s in Bay Ridge.

We’ve been going to this place for years , both for soft serve and for ices. The workers are always friendly, the prices are always reasonable. Today they had a sugar-free Tangerine ice that was very good.

This location used to be amazing. The new owners (who have owned it for the last 5 years or so) are just terrible. The flavors offered are minimal and we have had several incidents where the ordered flavor was given incorrectly and contained nuts, and management refused to rectify the situation.
