My first time having Rita’s! I was told Rita’s is a staple in the area, and now I know why. The Italian ice was so nice and dense, demonstrating high quality. I got half Mango, half Blue Raspberry. I thought they’d just put one on the bottom half and one on the top half (the lazy way to do it), but it was actually split vertically so it looked cool and gave me the option to have both flavors at once. I also tried the Island Fusion, and I’d say Mango is a little better. There are also so many ways to mix Italian ice with custard if that’s what you’re into, and all the options looked very yummy. On top of all that, the price is actually reasonable: under $5 for a large!
The service was also great, and they answered questions and even asked me if I wanted a sample of multiple flavors. The atmosphere is what you’d expect of a walk-up custard kind of place. It gives an old fashioned vibe that says it’s been a classic for awhile. Instant 5 stars!

There were two windows opened and a few benches and tables in their seating area off to the side. I got the peach-mango flavor in a small cup and it was pretty good. I wish their seating area was better.

It’s a small place with two windows open. The frozen custard flavors were very limited (vanilla, chocolate and a combination of both). The taste was good. Nothing beyond that. The fudge brownies has a different taste than usual, some light flavor of sour taste to it. Overall it’s good to visit one time.

So I was second in line waiting to be serviced and instead of me being serviced. Instead of me being served next they went directly to the white woman behind me. I am not racist at all but I didn’t get an apology or anything. I felt so uneasy and disrespected that I left. I will never go here again. Please train your staff on better customer service.if I could give them NO STARS I would!!!

Around 4:20 my dad and I ordered 5 gelati’s and when I had asked for a medium for two of the mango gelatis. The guy at the window gave me a small so wasn’t sure if you guys changed your sizes, but just wanted some clarification. Also when we had asked for two large sized gelati’s they were just the same size as a regular medium sized one.

Rita’s is DELISH!!! Highly recommend sampling all you have time/patience to sample….so many flavors to choose from and they cycle through them so they are hardly ever the exact same! Wanted to give it 5 ⭐️ by the last 2 times I’ve been there the lady I’ve ordered from was super disappointing and not friendly. She messed up my order but we didn’t say anything since it’s all good….
