I came to this location to get the Gummy Bear flavor all to find out gummy bears aren’t in the Italian Ice— I’ve decided to no longer come to this location it’s just always something “off”. **No disrespect to a Black owned business** I feel like demographics matter when it comes to franchise ownership. Because the Alexandria, VA location has gummy bears in their Italian Ice- I mean it should.

We know Rita’s Ice products are really good. The staff here is just as awesome! Though the lines tend to get a bit long as the weather gets warmer, the staff remain friendly and fast! I noticed that they have teenagers working there and some seem to have come back after each season. They also have a community board for you to enjoy while you wait. I’ve found some great resources on there. I love my neighborhood Rita’s!

Always a great place to go! I wish there were more staff or they moved a little faster. I know they are young ppl, but they always seem a bit confused and slow, but I love my neighborhood and community and I will always support and be patient with them!

I recently visited Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard and had a wonderful experience. I tried the mango Misto shake, mango Italian ice, cherry Italian ice, and mango gelato, and all were absolutely delicious!
The mango Misto shake was creamy and refreshing, with a perfect balance of sweetness and mango flavor. The mango Italian ice was incredibly flavorful and tasted like biting into a fresh mango. The cherry Italian ice was also delicious, with a bold cherry flavor that was very refreshing. Lastly, the mango gelato was creamy and smooth, with a rich mango flavor that was simply delightful.
The staff at Rita’s were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.

Butterfly Queen
Would have been 5 stars, but server staff kept saying my Blendini choice did not come as described on the menu board. The board said Ice+custard+topping. Finally, she said I could have ice, which flavor.
When I was paying with my card, she got irritated because she gave me the merchant copy of the receipt she handed me, and I insisted on signing it to give it back. She said they don’t keep those signed receipts. I explained that my account will require a signed receipt as a fraud deterrent.
Another staff person pressed the button and gave me a customer printout (no signature line) and told the girl to just take the signed receipt and throw it in the trash. I told her that I would keep the signed receipt, rather than then trashing a signed receipt.
My experience in previous seasons has always been fine. That staff person this season, should be better trained.
