Honestly I have been very disappointed the last few times I have been to this Rita’s here in Charlotte Hall. This ice cream…is a large…and no its not melted. I jumped right in the vehicle and took this photo. I do believe I will never be getting larges ever again as my son’s small ice cream cup had more ice cream than this. When the girl handed it to me I even asked if this was a large like I asked and she just smile and said my concrete would be right out. Definitely not worth it. One star because the ice cream itself still hits every time.

Paul is a jerk. I called LIKE THE WEBSITE SAYS TO DO to ask for the flavors of the day because they were NOT there when I or my coworkers checked. When I called, he told me to check online. When I got there and tried to order what I wanted, the super sweet nice young girl told me that they didn’t have any of the flavors I wanted. When I explained that I called and asked but a man told me to check back online, Paul (the man on the phone) came out the back to “justify” why he wouldn’t do his job properly. “If it was like 4 I wouldn’t mind but it’s like 20 so that’s why”. THE WEBSITE SAID CALL THE STORE. I don’t care if it was 50 flavors. He then comes back 10 minutes later to show me how he can locate the menu using Google on his phone. The customer is always right but I guess not when Paul is around. When I went back to work and rechecked, it was up and timestamped at 11:55. My office checked before 11am. He was wearing a blue shirt which unfortunately means he has some sort of managerial power. I feel bad for that poor girl who has to work with that jerk. I can only imagine how rude he is to her. Not sure what to say other than what I’ve already said. I stop here almost everyday after work so. I stop at this particular Rita’s because the staff are very kind, friendly, and I love getting my usual after a long hot afternoon, being in traffic coming from DC home.

I guess this is our last visit to this Rita’s. We have once again ordered a Large cup and it looked like a kiddie cup and at nearly $7 that’s not happening again.
I ordered a small cone that clearly had more in it than my husband’s Large cup. The girl at the counter said she weighed it and it was 8 inches not the usual 6 ounces but it looked like 4. Needless to say he was pretty pissed and it’s not the first time but now it’s the last.

If you think you have had Italian ice and you have not had Rita’s, then you don’t know what you are missing.
This location was an amazing experience, the girls behind the counter were very nice and friendly and professional , they helped me pick my flavors and the way they stacked them in the cup was awesome, great flavor mixture . Speaking of flavor, wow unlike any I have had.
Shoot now I got my mouth all juiced up for Rita’s
But don’t take my word for it, head down there and see for yourself, I bet you will give me a here after you experience it yourself
