Situated at the corner of a sharp 5 point (like my Batarang) intersection, this treat stop is dangerously delicious. The ice crew is always upbeat, friendly, and willing to make any tasty creation requested. This Rita’s location has a larger variety of water ice then most I have come across.
Contactless payment is always very convenient. And yes, looking at their point of sale display – that is the store number, no cap.
Benches to the left of the building and to the right of the building allow for a spot to “chill” while cooling down with your gelati.

We have recently discovered Rita’s… I know crazy, right!? But now I’m being asked on a weekly basis to take my kids to get some gelati. For a family of five it is very reasonably priced and it is a nice outing for a hot summer day without breaking the bank.

They teased me long ago by having my holy grail of flavors…chocolate water ice. I search high and low for it, but it’s hard to find and they haven’t had when I’ve gone there in many years now. They are also in a somewhat inconvenient location since I’m usually driving westbound on 422 and it’s just a little difficult to get into the parking lot at times.

No problem with the food itself. But after waiting 25 minutes in line, I was greeted with super rude customer service. Ordered a watermelon gelati, small, took a breath to keep talking, but the girl already turned away and started making it in the back, before she knew what flavor custard I wanted. She made vanilla and another girl asked if that was all. I asked for a twist for my custard and the original girl said “it’s already made” and I said “I didn’t finish my order” and my partner said “can you make it again please” after she gave us silence. Then she said “next time say that when you order” and I said “you walked away.” Then we paid and resumed our lives. She was ready to walk away before I even told her what size I wanted. At the very least ask what flavor custard I want if you thought I was done ordering, don’t just walk away without knowing what the customer wants. Incredibly rude to then imply I have to take the wrong order simply bc you made it wrong. So to the short blonde chick working last night (04/28/24) at this location around 6:30pm, I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say maybe you had a bad day or were stressed bc the line was long and you were busy; however, use this as a chance to reflect and learn how to manage your mouth and take accountability for your actions, esp at work, bc you were just unnecessarily rude when you were the one who messed up. Or just take the customers whole order first.

Stopped at Rita’s for a gelato. Cherry ice/chocolate ice cream. 1st visit of the season. Was extremely good but got full fast. Will return.
Take note. Sizes pack more than one might need. I got a medium, a small would have been enough. Not a complaint just a heads up.

As usual Rita’s was great my dog walk to the front of the line cutting in front of everyone to get her custard. She thinks that she is to be first always. She got her vanilla custard and was extremely satisfied and now she’s taking a nap. Another satisfied customer. Thanks Rita’s for giving me a moment of silence!
