Ordered XLarge Gelato got a large! The blizzard was the wrong size as well! Very disappointed!

I highly suggest you look at your menu in store! It says EXTRA LARGE AT THE 5 LAYER GELATI! AND $15 FOR 6 SMALL COOKIE SANDWICHES! THATS INSANE! I WILL TAKE MY BUISNESS TO Family owned places!

Me and my boyfriend went to this Rita’s for the first time since we live in Mertztown and always go to the Kutztown location and we were blown away by the service!the 2 that served us named Libby and Giovani were amazing when serving us. Fast, polite and friendly were something that described the service we were faced with. We definitely recommend.

2 kids at best run this place at any given time. There are no managers present and no adult supervision and the children running the store are easily confused and do not make good decisions in taking orders and serving.

I was served last night by a boy named Ryan and he was soooo sweet! He got slammed out of nowhere and he handled it so well! He kept his composure and made sure everybody had what they needed! He basically took care of a whole line of people himself, with a smile! I give him so much credit! He was great! What a great employee to have!

I like this Rita’s, but there are a few areas of improvement since my last 5 star review here. Most importantly, the ice is not kept cold enough. It melts quicker and makes the custard run together so the taste is not discernible as you’re only half way through the cup. We both got different ice flavors, different custard flavors (love the variety!) and this was on two different days. Not sure if this is a refrigeration issue or the cases constantly being open due to the amount of customers. Minor improvements to make are the bathroom always being locked and old Clover POS equipment that doesn’t take Apple Pay (other Rita’s locations like 5th St do.)

I came in tonight and ordered and immediately got hit with snarky remarks and attitude because I second-guessed my order. I originally thought nothing of it and let it be until they gave me the wrong order and when I waited until they weren’t busy I asked them about it and got completely dismissed. I will not be coming back here until customer service improves
