Very disappointed. My friend and I went to Rita’s tonight for a sweet treat and all I wanted was a gelati. Hence, I proceeded to order one with excitement. I was very disappointed when I got to the bottom of my cup and there was NO ice cream on the bottom. Despite the fact that I ordered and paid for a gelati which is advertised as a delectable treat with layers of goodness. Which are supposed to be as follows: custard, Italian ice, and then more custard. Will definitely be going to the Rita’s in Emmaus next time.

The people that work here are very nice however it’s poorly managed! I come in the other day and there was a couple in front of me and they ordered 2 quart size ices and my boyfriend and I were ordering two regular size and there were three people including a manager standing inside as if it takes three people to weigh somebody’s ice. Instead of the three of them being doing the same thing they should’ve had one person working on the customers that were in front of me and then the other employee taking my order also I usually only come there when there’s lemon because that’s my favorite and I feel like over the past year and a half two years Rita’s lemon flavor has almost no taste

Macungie at 130 The signs that open not from the window multiple times. No action so I left. I called them 10 minutes later and asked if they were busy. They said yes so I riped 5 minutes. No customers in line. I then asked manager why they didn’t answer. They said they were busy in the back. 3 people got no service.

$4.99 for small Gelati and $5.79 for a Large Gelati came out to be $15.22…Why? Cause I asked for her to put a little more custard than ice at the bottom. I have been going for years and ask for that every time, with no extra charge. Now you are telling me it’s an extra $1+ for a little bit of extra custard. If it was 25-50 cents I would not have an issue, but over $1 extra is crazy. Also, if you are start charging for those small requests you should tell the person it will be extra when they make the request.
