I’ve been patronizing this Rita’s for many years. The store is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff behind the counter is extremely friendly and courteous. The ice and treats are always fresh and taste great. They also have a nice tent set up behind the store with tables and chairs so their customers can relax and enjoy their treats. It’s really a nice place. The store’s owner also is very involved in the community. I’d certainly recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Always refreshing to gobble up. My issue w/ The Hellertown location is that they only allow two (2) flavors in a LARGE size. Every other location allows three (3).
Variety is the spice of life…… I personally don’t understand the rationale. A LARGE is a LARGE no matter how many flavors are in it. This policy will prevent me from purchasing Quarts from this location. What does that mean? A LOSS of REVENUE!!
Let’s talk service… The young kids who work there are always professional, courteous and pleasant. One will always leave w/ a smile. By the way. Don’t forget to “TIP” The Workers!!!

I normally don’t revise a review, however it’s important to be honest to my Followers. So here we go.
I revisited Rita’s (Hellertown) last night. The Kids told me The Owner pulled all of them into the office and spoke w/ them about my review.
He reaffirmed the policy that One can get three (3) flavors in a LARGE, if so desired. In addition, The Owner reached out to me directly. He thanked me for the review. Then stated it was a misunderstanding and “POSITIVE” training would take place. On top of that, there was an offer of a FREE LARGE w/ three (3) flavors.
WOW!!! I’m impressed w/ this Business Owner’s quick actions!!!
So, I’m changing my review to a “Five (5) Star”!!!!! This is place is a “YUM… YUM…. YUM….. Recommendation”

It’s ran mostly by young kids they tend to mess up your order a lot or not make it right and if you happen to be wearing a hat or T-shirt with anything political on it that the employee serving dislikes they purposely mess up your order and refuse to redo it it’s very unprofessional but when they do get your order right it’s okay I recommend going to the ice cream shop down the street they’re cheaper and taste so much better and extremely professional

A prompt, friendly staff member served us, he even took the time to understand the little ones while masked! It’s a bummer that they had sold out of one flavor, but with only 15 minutes until closing it’s not a big deal.
The inside facility appeared clean, and well maintained.
But the water ice and custard, those were the best part. The taste, oh my goodness.
So delicious. Every flavor was spot on, and amazing. I ate 1/3 of mine before starting the car. We’ll definitely be back!

i always love coming here in the summer with my friends! the service is always excellent and their ice is amazing!! mango is my favorite flavor of ice, but the reeses concretes are very good too. great for a quick summer treat!
