Employees are really nice. I LOVE the fact you can call em up and order what you want, and it’s always ready when you get there. It’s especially nice and in a pretty convenient location for a quick stop. Especially lately with this heat we’ve been having, it’s great to just swing in a have a custard(GREAT for making at home milkshakes! ) Or one of their awesomely delicious It. Ice. Recently have tried the Ocean Splash: the color blue of this yummy creation is something in and of itself.it almost has a metallic look to it, just beautiful really. And the taste kinda reminded me those blue and white gummy sharks I used to eat as a kid. Also their cantaloupe is spot on. Tastes just like a perfectly rope cantaloupe. That’s a favorite of mine now. Also the watermelon is pretty good too. Almost reminds me of bubbleyum gum. That’s all I’ve tried so far. Goal is to try them all. Haven’t found one yet I haven’t liked. I recommend this little spot for sure.

We have been going to this Rita’s for years. We anticipate the opening every year and have always had great service. It was a bit cool today but after playing some baseball with the kids we stopped in and enjoyed some Italian ice.

Whenever I come and it’s busy, it seems they are WAY understaffed. I really wish you knew what flavors they had before coming, especially if you were looking forward to getting your favorite, especially for the folks who don’t have Facebook, kids, elderly, or just people who don’t have it. I love the custards though, especially the cheesecake!

Good location tucked away in suburban Pottsville. However, they were frequently out of sugar free and more “savory” flavors like chocolate and peanut butter. We love Rita’s, though!

Love trying all the flavors, for me I like the tropical flavors; pineapple, mango, orange.

The upsides to this place are that the people are almost always friendly as can be, the Italian ice always has a changing great selection of flavors to keep things interesting, the custard couldn’t be better, the array of other dessert items is large, and the fact that they have options to take treats home makes this place even sweeter.
