They were kind enough to bring their flavors to our job and what a refreshing treat. I copped out and got the lemon but it was so good and reminded of those childhood trips to the waterfront. Excellent choice for a refreshing summer treat

The lady is quick to cut you off. I asked to sample two flavors and she rolled her eyes and gave me a disgusted look. She gave all my friends napkins with their icees but I had to ask for one. It felt racially motivated because I was the only black person there.

Just your classic Rita’s! They got all the classics like ice and custard and gelati and more! Not as many flavors as other Rita’s but that’s alright, still around 9 flavors.

I asked for a blendini with vanilla custard and root beer ice. Before I could even ask for my toppings, they cut me off, charged me, and started serving the next person. They gave me my blendini after waiting approximately 20 minutes, which is fine I guess, even though they weren’t busy. I asked for the toppings, and they refused, saying that blendinis dont come with toppings. Total waste of money and a drive all the way out here. Terrible service.

Not very good customer service and they don’t have follow through with the advertising they have on their own window. And only offer select sizes that they want to use even though Rita’s has a few different sizes normally.
I can get over all that for custard and Italian ice but then they were really rude to my teenage sister and refused to let her pick toppings for her sundae then told her they could only charge 3.52 to her card and she must just not have anymore money which she did have enough on her card. An establishment cannot just charge a certain amount of money if the bank/debit card does not have enough on it . They can only do that with a gift card if that’s what’s left on it. She gave them cash for the rest but I believe she accidentally typed in 3.52 for the charge on the card and didn’t want to charge her card again. When she paid her the rest with cash, she laughed at my sister and said, thought so.

I love the mango ice! I’ve tried a few other things and have yet to be disappointed. The employees are polite and helpful as well. The bathrooms are well taken care of. There are tables inside but none outside. You can also order from inside or outside on the street through a walk up window. It’s conveniently located on Beaver Ave. with Pugh Street Parking Garage near by. I’m so glad this place is still here with the ever changing quality of downtown State College.

Excellent place to cool off on a hot summer’s day. One of the cheapest places to get dessert in town for a good price. Staff are also very friendly and always open to let you try flavors out. You can also ask for multiple flavors to be put in the same cup, which is great cause I often don’t want to have to pick just one flavor. Their cream ices are highly recommended!

The food was great, service was quick, but the parking situation is quite frankly awful. The location can’t do much to change it, but the shared front lot with Champs, as well as narrow lanes to the rear parking lot, leaves a lot of iffy undesirable situations.
