First time coming this season. Ordered quite a bit and everything looked great till I noticed my Reeses concrete looked half eaten already. Didn’t complain because I know the workers work hard just would of liked a full cup of icecream

My family and I love Rita’s, and my wife is an Ice Cream aficionado. We enjoy the Root Beer Ice and a Reese’s Concrete…today the Concrete size cup was super small. Trying not to be rude I did speak to the manager and tell him that the concretes I was given were the wrong size. He tried to convince me that they have always been the size I was given. You be the judge in the photo…kids small ice vs the Concrete($6.49)

We were just here 05.20.2025 around 1230 in the afternoon. The worker that was taking the orders was EXTREMELY snooty and rude. Slammed the window, made us feel rushed, I asked for one large and one small and she gave me two larges charging both of them as large, and gave me no time what so ever after getting my ice cream to ask for napkins or lids, she just slammed the window shut immediately. Terrible customer service but the ice cream was still good.

So far I have not been impressed with the ice flavors being offered. It seems like since they have opened back up it has been mostly the same flavors with minimum changes. No mint chocolate chip cream ice in sight. Plus you have to call half the time to even know what they have because the fb page hardly gives updates. Very annoying. The upside is if you love Swedish fish flavor then your in luck because that never goes off the menu…

There is no where like Rita’s for custard. I have tried other places, but it just wasn’t the same.
I usually get a large twist custard and I have never been disappointed.
On a recent visit I tried something different. It was a sampler of four different flavors of ices. (Called a frequent flyer, I think.) It was a good choice at a nice price.

There are two Rita’s near me but only one advertises a 10% coupon off, why is that? The coupon is good on Long Beach Island NJand not good in Manahawkin NJ just a couple of miles apart.

Today I went to Rita’s in hopes I was gonna have a good mint custard (which I’ve gotten one other time and it was fine) , but unfortunately the taste was off, and I got it with chocolate sprinkles on a kids cone. I had brought my concerns to the manager in hopes of being able to get an exchange, which he told me that I had eaten more than half of it, which is impossible because I only had a couple of licks(also a kids size) of it until I realized that it was absolutely off putting & the taste is still on my tongue as I write this review, I was treated extremely poorly and he wanted nothing to do with me, and completely dismissed me in front of everybody. Also, he said he tasted it and it was fine but anyone could tell you it tasted like rotten milk & i payed aswell as tipped!! He said he couldn’t exchange it because we didnt like it, when that wasn’t the case! He completely conducted business in the wrong manner & he lost two customers & customers families! What a horrible business owner. Also is dirty so no surprise the mint custard went bad! It wasn’t that i didn’t like it, ive had it there before and it was good, it was that it tastes like it went bad this time. why is this owners arrogance and ego getting in the way of conducting good business omg he is the worst , wow i’m applauded. Wouldn’t want him to be someone i ever do business with again. Hope they get new ownership again next year this franchise owner is doing it all wrong and i will be contacting corporate.

Two times I went miles out of my way with my family to get a treat and both times there was a slim selection of ices to choose from. Was very disappointed with the lack of availability of product. I’m surprised management would allow such an oversight of customer service.
