I’m not a big fan of icecream&gelati but I was in the area and I said to give it a try. Service is fast and friendly. I ordered a small gelati and before taking my first bite I noticed that there was something in it, I’m not sure if it was hair, it looked more like a thread from a fabric. I went back and the girl looked so embarassed.. She apologized and offered me another gelati, a big one and she insisted on giving me a 2nd item, which I refused, I wasn’t even able to finish the gelati lol.

This Rita’s location is above the rest! The staff was friendly and the Cotton Candy Misto Shake and Watermelon Misto Gelati were fantastic. Staff kept the line moving quickly on a warm Saturday which was a plus.

I live a few blocks away and frequent here often. I don’t know if they’re trying to make up for COVID but the servings have been very small. Like the little skinny part of the swirl not passing the rim of the base of the container small. The concretes don’t even pass a third of the cup. For what these things cost I at least expect a normal serving. I guess I’ll be going to Jersey Freeze.
