Our office does an Annual Rita’s Day every year. For the past two years we have used this location. Unfortunately the customer service is lacking. I spoke to whom I believed was the manager, and asked for pricing for the 2.5 gallon buckets we typically order for the event. A price was quoted for them during this call. 2 weeks later, when we went to place the order, speaking to the same women, she told me, “I was wrong and she doesn’t know where I got my information from but they do not have buckets anymore but rather coolers”. I explained that she was the only one I had spoken to regarding this and she claims I spoke to another employe at the store! That was not the case, she has a very distinct voice, slightly rude in her tone, and is also the women I worked with for last year’s event. We agreed to the coolers as the announcement was already made to our office staff, the quote was approved from management, and preparations were underway. I would not recommend this option if you do not plan to eat it all in one day. We had no way to store the giant sized coolers and wasted any remaining water ice we had. Lets also keep in mind you will need to make an additional trip back to the store to return said coolers. which is very inconvenient. Bad experience all around. Our Executives have made the decision to no longer use this location based on this years terrible experiences.

My first time going to the West Norriton PA location. I usually go to the Norristown PA. I would recommend going to this location. I know it’s only water ice. But the West Norriton location prepared this so much better. There was ice cream on the top and bottom. I never even knew this is how it is supposed to. That’s not how the Norristown location prepares it. They are only a 5 minute drive apart.

Very nice staff, but they still had 20 minutes before closing and they had already put some things away for the night, like Reese’s pieces. I know this because I wanted some on my Sunday and I was told I could not have them because they were already put away. I’m sure that the owner of this establishment would just love to hear that his employees are trying to close it up early and customer satisfaction goes down closer to closing time.

I ordered two large gelati and I specified that I wanted it blended. The cashier did not understand what I ordered and gave me an Italian ice with gelato on top. When we asked them to remake the drink because it was wrongly made, They remade the drink, and then proceeded to charge us for the remade drink. We ended up having to pay twice, because they made a mistake. This is really bad service, and we are never going back to this Rita’s.

I was getting a large juice pear from this location witch is a normal visit for me every week for the last couple of years . Going forward I will never spend money at this location again . Today there was two young ladies at the register, I asked for my order and it was handed to me shortly after. when I received it I noticed that with my order and the other items I had in my vehicle I wouldn’t be able to handle it all , so I asked for a lid to cover me Italian ice, The young women’s response was I cant we are not allowed to give out lids with the extra ice on top we would have to take the extra off and put a flat lid on it. Now i’m not one to complain but the manager or owner has to do a better job at this facility , they only have two sizes (S) or (L) options to select from but to me it seems there always a issue here . The manager over heard what was going on and tried to act as if that was right.
I asked , dose it make since to make a order at a restaurant and receive the order, and you realize after you receive the order that you cant stay and you have to go. next you ask for a box and they say , Sorry sir we can give you a box for your meal but we have to take the fries out , for the same price . How would that work for you.
The reason I’m making this review is because of how the manager act toward me (the customer and for him to intrude on a A,B conversation and walk away with attitude after a asked a good question to me is totally unacceptable and totally unprofessional. His Attitude after asking why seemed as if he got really frustrated and it showed more on his face.

It was my second visit to Rita’s and another blue raspberry vanilla Gelati. It was so good I went back today for just a straight vanilla custard. Both were delicious. Can’t wait for my next trip back.

The staff at Rita’s is always rude. More than once I have waited in line, only to be told the flavor I want, that is on the sign, they don’t have today. Take it off the sign so people don’t wait, and apologize to the person after they have waited. It is just a common courtesy that seems to be lacking.

I was there at 4:15pm in the afternoon. I’m handicap and I called and asked if they can deliver to my car. I was parked right in front of the window and there were no other customers there at the time. I was told no that they were not allowed to deliver to my car. I am severely handicapped. Only reason The only reason why I gave one star was because they answered the phone.

I don’t know if their freezers are broken or what, but every single time I come here I get a gelato that is not only more than half melted the instant I get it but also not even completely full to begin with. The line always moves painfully slow too. You guys have A LOT of improving to do.
