Absolutely delicious lunch with a view on the lake and the beach! We started with a prosciutto crudo appetizer, followed by the Greek salad and perfectly tender beef that melted in your mouth. The lilac lemonade was such a refreshing surprise. Great service and an unbeatable setting overlooking Lake Como — highly recommend.

Wow! This dinner was the best dinner I have had in my entire life and we’ve eaten at Michelin star restaurants! This restaurant is beyond deserving of Michelin status! The staff (Pepe and Aziz) were phenomenal and so professional and accommodating! Chef Francesco Sarno personally introduced himself before dinner, made suggestions, and delivered a meal we will remember for a lifetime. I’ve never had the sensory experience of smell, visual presentation, and taste all come together so magically. This restaurant and hotel gets 5 stars in my book! I hope I get the chance to return one day!

This dining experience is second to none! It is a must for a special occasion when visiting Lake Como. We visited during our honeymoon and it is chefs kiss!! The food is incredible, 7 courses is actually 10 and the matching wine is like nothing you’ll have had before. Staff were outstanding, and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. They were even kind enough to make a special dessert wishing us a happy honeymoon. Highly, highly recommend.

We had an amazing 3 course dinner experience here. The food was very delicious and flavorful. It was also very unique with the flavors. The brought out many complimentary appetizers and desserts. Just beware the price of champagne. They asked us if we would like champagne when we sat down and i didn’t realize they were going to charge us 160 euros doe the four glasses. All in all I highly recommend this place for dinner.

First night in Varenna, and how Ristorante Visteria did not disappoint! Simply put, best restaurant and experience we’ve ever had, and you cannot miss the opportunity to place a reservation. What an incredible experience at Visteria! We had the 6 course meal, but it ended up being 10 courses with a couple of extras, one of those being a special birthday dessert.
The service was phenomenal. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes they were serving and answered all our questions. They genuinely cared about our feedback after each course, as they wanted to share that with the chef. Towards the end of the meal, the chef came out to talk with us. We thanked him and told us our favorite dishes.
This was possibly the best dining experience I have ever had in my life. From the food, to the presentation, to the service, everything was top notch. Highly recommend Visteria to anyone staying in Varenna.

100/10 for everything!! My fiancée and I had the most incredible time here on a Friday. The view is absolutely incredible, and the property is magnificent. From the gentleman pointing is towards the restaurant to the staff at the restaurant, everyone was absolutely amazing. We decided on the tasting menu, 140€/pp. Each plate had a story to it, and the flavors all complimented each other so well!! I loved the amuse bouches, so delicate and different which prepared you for the meal so well!! I absolutely loved the risotto and the fish was splendid!!! The various bread products were amazing, the one that looked like a rose was possibly the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. The dessert was ON ANOTHER LEVEL!! the lemon raspberry pre-dessert was out. of. this. world!!! And the little Ferrero like dessert at the end was AMAZING. If you are in varenna, you will not regret this incredible experience!!!!

We did the 5 course tasting menu and had an amazing experience. Food was incredible – everything was Michelin standard quality except for the dessert which was pretty average. Loved the amuse bouche, squid and raviolo dishes.
Service was overall great – our waiters Karisma and Placido were fantastic, however we thought the manager Sanjaya could have been a bit more hospitable, particularly with helping us understand how the menu would be tailored to be nut free (allergy).

An incredible experience for our 9 year wedding anniversary. The service was the best we have ever experienced and is on another level to anything else in varenna. The food itself all had a story to tell and was just as much creative art as it was food. The wait staff were all knowledgeable and super passionate. Happy to explain the dishes and give feedback. After what was an amazing meal the chef came out and introduced himself which was a nice touch. I highly recommend the spaghetti, risotto, squid, Sirloin and the chocolate souffle. You will not be disappointed here. Definitely a special occasion fine dining experience you will not forget.
